I'm new to growing and am having some problems. My plant is about 1 month old and up until about a week ago has been growing great. The plant's leaves have recently started drooping which I understand to be a sign of over-watering. There are now a few deformed leaves curled crazily which would lead me to believe there is a PH problem. The lower 2 sets of leaves have started curling and yellowing or have died and most of the leaves have their edges curling slightly upward. Up until now I have been watering every 1-2 days and have been spraying them twice a day for foliage feed sometimes with micro nutrients for both the spray and water. I've kept my lamps on and about 1 inch from the tips of my plants. I have 2 cool white CFL lamps and 1 softwhite. The grow room is about 2X2...... I no longer spray the plants and have stopped watering so frequently and have adopted a 2-1 ratio for watering with nutrients. (2 watering regular water- 1 with nutrients) Is there anything else I can do?

I think it just looks a little dimmer because of the flash on my camera. I have two 100 watt Cool natural lights and one 100 Soft white usually hanging lower to get the lower leaves on both plants. I also have the entire interior draped with mylar.

As far as CFLs are concerned, the light they give off is only usable for 2-6 inches from the bulb. Any part of the plant that is further than that from a light isn't really getting much. The aim is to make sure all the green leaves of the plant are getting bathed in light. You're looking for any shadowy areas on the plant. Any part that appears shadowed, you should stick an extra lightbulb in there. The amount of buds you get is directly proportional to how much light the plant gets (your girls convert the energy from lights into buds) so the more light the better. With small CFLs like these, you pretty much can't get too many. Good luck!
