Hey all, im a little worried about whats going on with my plants.. ever since yesterday the leaves have started to kind of shrivel up and are curling upwards.. I decided to add a little water and adjust the lighting hoping it would cure the issue.. well today its starting to get worse. the leaves are starting to turn yellow. I included pics to better describe the issue..

I am growing some bag seed
the soil is Fox Farm's Ocean Forest.
Water is PH'd properly
no nutes
and running a bunch of CFL's about a inch from the plants.

Hope you guys can help me out! thanks :)

Wow, the FF should be great for new seedlings, and I would not give them nutes, either. The soil doesn't look too wet, except that I do like to keep my young un's in a tray with water so they don't dry out, so far it's been a 'never fail' technique. Have you checked out the plant problems pages? New growth being yellow like that may be a sign of a deficiency, but man, they're so young!

I would not water for a couple of days ... back off light a bit... then if no response give just a pinch ($10 coke line.. I mean a pinch) of nute to it.. The light green looks like N...but the wrinkled leaves looks like an over water thing. IMO... luck

First and foremost thanks for the responses..

Today the plants seem to be doing the same.. the one with the light green seems to have stopped growing and the light green is spreading.. the veins are also light green.

some of the plants stems are purple.

i'll take pictures later tonight to show the current conditions

Hi and good luck on all your future grows. I just wanted to state that if this plant is being so problematic at this stage in it's life you are more likely to end up with a male due to stress. Raise your soil height for better airflow and lower you ambient temperature as well as increasing your humidity. The leaves do look very dry and that will cause a canoeing effect. Other than that - there is a strong possibilty that you have poor genetics. Try replacing your soil completely and light watering. Keep an open water container next to your plant as it will increase humidity. Good luck and keep us posted.

I would have suggested chlorosis as being the culprit due to light leaching but it looks like you are using cfl's and I've never seen a cfl bulb cause leaching due to it's incomparable output when compared to gas lamp such as MH or HPS.
