btw these are obviously indica dominant they have been 12/12 from seed and are right at about 8 weeks since preflowers have shown.. 10 weeks from seed(yes they showed preflowers and had bud set by 2 weeks(seedling)) so if i remember correctly most indica dominant strains shouldnt take a whole lot longer than 8 weeks

At this stage go by your trics, those look like they could be done already, it's the trics you need to watch tho, because usually just before/around optimum harvest time you'll get one last big rush of fresh white pistils, so anything but trics will be misleading.

Plus not all strains will be "pistils retracted and buds swollen" when they hit their peak THC window so some never look "totally" ready, while some can look ready far too early.

Hope this helps.

That my friend, Is exactly what I wanted to hear if I may be so "frank". When I look at the trichs with my scope I still see quite a bit of clear trichs but I see a shit load of cloudy/milky trichs just piled ontop of each other with very very minimal amber trichs but there are some..though I havent checked in 2 days. I'll probably check tomorrow when I get home from work...

I will admit... I feel as though people are going to disagree with you because I read a lot about how the whole bud should turn a slight amber tint when its ripe and all pistils should have receeded into the bud etc etc... but like i said ... you made me feel like I would not be a complete and utter retard if I chopped them down say tonight or in a week from now whatever the case may be.

if we are talking strictly trichs people say mostly clear/cloudy for heady up high and lots of amber for a heavy stoned "i cant move" high if thats the case then if i cut one down right now ill have a plant with some nice "up" high and then cut the other down in 2 weeks or hell even more... and get that "wow i am fucking baked and im not moving till tomorrow high"

I know people have said they are not ready. I am absolutely not disregarding anyones advice or opinions... I have read them all and thought about every reply i've gotten and i appreciate all the advice...im just so torn between cutting one down or not.... and honestly. i'd rather not keep taking little buds off till i chop because their really are not that many due to the small size of the plants so i really think my best bet would be to check trichs tomorrow if i see more amber i am chopping 1 and only 1 of the two plants down then i will wait for the other to 100% completely ripen . what do you guys think? then i can focus on the ridiculously slow flowering sativa dom plant thats still in there somewhere lol
