Leaf tips drying and yellowing, brown spots.

Hello Rollituppers, new member here with a problem.

I'm having a problem with a Dinafem Amnesia Auto XXL, which I am unable to solve. I have tried to find info on the net about what is happening to my plant, but without any definitive results. The symptoms don't seem to match anything exactly, so I'm here to ask for help.

The plant is growing outside on my balcony alongside a Northern Light by Sensi Seeds, which is perfectly fine. Location is South-East Spain, on the Costa Blanca. We have had very rainy weather this year (for the area, which is normally arid), and this probably is partially a culprit, but as the other plant is fine, I am a bit confused.
The plant is in a smart pot, but due to the rains got completely soaked right after I gave it water after a short dry period. It had just started flowering, and I gave bloom fertilisers on top of the normal grow ones it has been getting so far. It started about a week ago with lowest leafs' tips burning, and spreading to the edges, then after a few days the spots came and it started to spread. We have also had a slight whitefly problem if that's important, but it has been mostly under control, although it's impossible to completely eradicate them due to them coming back from our neigbors.

Anyway, here's a couple of pictures to show what the problem is:

From the pictures in that guide, it looks very much like a Manganese problem... I'm not experienced enough to diagnose it properly though, as it does not look exactly the same as my pictures were showing.

You don't mention what type of water your using...... Tap-RO. Are you pHing??

The plant is soaked from the rains, I think I mentioned that. Both of them were, but the XXL is the only one showing any symptoms, Northern Light is flowering happy and healthy. I haven't given the plant water for over a week. I checked it again after posting, and the pot is very heavy. So "overwatering" is definitely part of the problem.

I do PH my water now, previous 5 crops were fine without though and with same fertilisers. Ph is at about 6 after I add fertilisers. It will be a bit higher when I stop using my growth fertiliser, around 6.5. This is coco coir. I did think the rain might have messed the PH too (didn't think of measuring the rainwater), on top of soaking the plants. Many problems, I know. Makes finding a solution hard, especially as I'm not that experienced, on my 6:th grow now.

Give this a look... Easier than asking questions. Good Info. Sounds like your coco is Loco..

That guide looks like something I would have really needed 2 years ago when starting up. This being my last outside grow, and possibly my last coco coir grow as I'm looking into a DWC-system, it comes a bit late though. I am going to read it in any case, even if just to educate myself.

From now on, I am growing only indoors in a tent. I have a test-drive grow going in my tent in which I use Canna Coco Professional Plus coir and Canna line of nutes. So far (week 4) it is going amazingly well with much healthier plants than my cheapscate outside grow ever did. So well actually, that I'm unsure if I want to switch from this particular coco coir. It's expensive (although re-usable), but takes a lot of extra work out of the grow, which I want to avoid because my physical condition, so well worth the 20€ per 50 liter bag.

So if anybody could recognize the problem(s) with a remedy I could achieve with my current nutes and gear, that would be great. As a pensioner money is very tight, otherwise I could just buy my medicine from a local social club...

Read the Coco link... I do both DWC and Coco, the one thing I like best is how fast you can recover. Rather than waiting on an opinion, reset the grow and give her a week to show you. Bet you fix it. Can't fly straight until the wings are level.

I have been giving both plants GHO bloom and some amino acids as foliar spray for the last 2 days, as that's practically all I have that I could think might help. It SEEMS the problem has stopped spreading. I'll watch what happens in the next few days, as that's all I can do anyway.

Thank you for the links and help, this is something I need to learn, although it's very alien for me as I have never had a green thumb. Finding actually good information amongst all the bad that's flooded around the net is hard, so a big thank you for pointing me the right way. Growers of every other crop plant have huge library of confirmed scientific info, while most info about cannabis seems to be hearsay, inherited or even deliberate misinformation.

Why I'm so anxious for a solution, is that with autoflowers, every single day with problems is out from the final crop as the plant is like an unstoppable train, and it's hard to wait and watch. I have had plants that were stunted to 10cm total height with no obvious reason while the other one from the same package 10cm away is getting to 1.2m height. And all my seeds are from good and well known banks, so genetics should be relatively uniform.

Oh yes, I have been there before, just slipped my mind. I need to start following a few sites actively from now on. Trying to find about remedies afterwards obviously isn't the way to go. The guide you posted will definitely be my next read. Now that I put money to the tent and light, I need to commit more not to make mistakes. I should probably do a few grows first in the tent with the coir I have, before trying DWC, as it seems to be different in many ways.

Set up a single bucket.. Won't take up much room. I have some cool plans for scrog DWC.

Easy plans I found, and my "Poor Man's" chiller. I live in Arizona, stupid hot in the Summer.

That looks like a very clever system. I have an AC-unit right above my tent, so heat is not too big a problem, but that system looks very easy to use, so definitely worth looking into.

When I get to do the DWC, I was thinking of starting with the Neptune DWC pot, as it's cheapish at 30€, and has two decent sized air stones. Scrog is definitely going to be used after I use up my automatic seeds and can switch to feminized, and one that's attached to the tank seems the way to go. I have been doing LST on some bushier plants, but for autos it doesn't really affect much outdoors. Inside in my tent I will definitely have to LST though, as it's a 60x60x160cm tent with a 250w hps, so not much light penetration and especially the Amnesia XXL (still have 6 seeds left I bought because of a 60% sale, so need to use them up) can get big enough to completely fill my tent... Might need to Scrog them anyway to be safe.
