Leaf issues

Flush with PH'd plain water, the leaves will never recover but it shouldn't get worst. Nute burn.
Thats my two cents

Where did the nutes come from? Did you feed the plants or are you using soil with nutrients in it?

Yea bro, I would have thought that had I put any ferts to them. Only have them in Fox Farms Ocean Forest mix. I did get some General Organics Bio Thrive Grow and Bloom. I added 2 tsp in a gallon thinking they might be hungry after seeing this. They are in 3.3 gal buckets, 600watt MH about 4' above them, 6 inch fan and filter 160 cfm, temp stays 80-81F, RH is 45-49 and I have a 16" oscillating fan going non stop.

Here is a general view of my spread atm..

Just incase it has any bearing, the 3 strains I have are Super Skunk, Wonder Woman and White Widow. And I only use water from a Pur brand water filter.

the filter is doing no good taking away all the heavier minerals your plant needs, your poor wee plant is burnt to fuck so fix the P H .and give it time

So this is a PH issue bro? I was told to use filtered water as the chlorine is bad news. Are those 3 in 1 meters any good? For light, moisture and ph readings? what should ph read and is this to high a ph or to low doing this to my plants?

All but 4 have 9 leaves, I'm not wanting these to grow to the roof, and the average height now is 17" so I am wanting to start flowering, 12/12 asap! Do I need to check the ph etc before I go 12/12? I have a 3 in 1 meter on its way, can i use a ph strip in the meantime? Maybe flush and take a reading of the water that runs out the bottom??

Bro I don't think this is a water filter issue..I been using the same water since germin these. It's a natural breakdown etc.. of the FFOF mix over time ( I should have been monitoring the PH, but new to growing, so another learning curve) if the ph is out of wack..not because of the filtered water. Just doesn't add up, they are 30+ day old plants and they have done fine until the last few days.

hey bro its not the water just use the plain water and you dont havee to soak them but once a week...take them off all fertilizer for vege cycle, get some earthjuice budding shit and only use it give them only water now for bout a week or 2 then turn lights to 12/12 and use the budding fert I have never checked a ph in my whole life growing in soil now with hydro I did and it was always up or down, fuck all that shit the soil you have is awesome just hear me out and you'll see you can even let the soil get bone dry and the plants will be ok for a week thats why they have water leaves...once they start budding pull alot of the lower leaves off and then like the upper water leaves cut them in half with scissors you can cut every water leaff in half hell the whole leaf dont need shit you want the shit to go to the buds....tty soon partner

Ok an update. Got this 3 in 1 meter..ph, moisture and light and the ph in all the pots were around 7.4-7.9 (stuck it in the 2 gallon bucket I had filled up with water and the ph read the same), the light reading holding the meter at the Top of the plants read 500-550, and the moisture read in the green as moist.

A quick run down, 600watt digital apollo ballast with a MH bulb that is about 4' above plants with an open winged reflector, babies are 30-34 days old from popin up from soil which is Fox farms ocean forest, average 16-17" tall, in 3 gallon buckets, water is from a Pur brand water filter, the nutes are General Organics Bio Thrive grow and bloom (I used once at 2 teaspoons per gallon because I thought this was happening because they were hungry. Have a 6" 160 cfm inline fan and a 6" filter from HTG, temp stays 81 and RH is 46-51. Tent is 6.5 x 6.5 x 6.5 mylar reflecting inside. Have a 16" oscillating fan going non stop. As far as strains, super skunk, white widow and wonder woman from Nirvana.

I held the meter about 1/8 away from my T8 shop light and it read 500. I also brought it up towards the 600 watt MH light and about a foot from the top of the plant it jumped to 900, then about 1 1/2 feet from the bulb it read 2000. I just got through 'flushing' (watering them until it came out the bottom) a couple of days ago.

I'm not sure what this all means, hence my throwing it out for your guys advice/help. My first gro and I don't want to go 12/12 until I get them 'stable'? If needed. Anything that I may have missed that could help, please ask.

A recent pic of one plant and it's leave/s. I might mention, not all of my babies are showing signs of 'this issue'.

ok i found your thread...

you got heat stress, thats what causes the curled up leaf edges, lower your heat and humidity with ventilation, suck air out of the room with a blower, and let it come in from the cracks around doors or through a filtered outside vent (pantyhose material will keep bugs out of big openings)

your plants have plenty of nitrogen, they need potassium zinc and suphur. all that dead leaf tissue is done for, trim off any leaf more than 50% damaged, then just give them water, and low doses of a good all around fertilizer, preferably one with less nitrogen as they are doin fine on that score. use a weak solution of flowering fertilizer to set them back on track, i never used the fertilizers you have on hand, but i looked em up.

Vegan fertilizers? thats the dumbest thing i ever heard! bird shit, bat shit, horse shit, cow shit and worm shit are the building blocks of a plant's health. dude, that stuff aint shit.

if their analysis is correct, a regular dose of that stuff (2 teaspoons per gallon) but only every other watering (1/2 whats recommended over the time your plants will grow) will start them on the right track. as the plants need more you can raise the dosage, and if you start seeing lower leaves turn pale or yellow then you need more nitrogen. your soil's PH is probably ok, bu those britta filters only remove chlorine aromas (activated charcoal filtration) but not the flourine, chloramine heavy metals, etc etc etc... britta makes nasty water taste better but doesnt make toxic water less toxic. all in all you could save yourself the trouble of using the filter by just letting a bucket of tap water gas off on the porch (covered with pantyhose to keep bugs and shit out) overnight.

vegan fertilizer... man thats crazy. my chickens, and worms are more than happy to let me haul off their crap for them, just like the horse barn near my place doesnt mind at all letting me take a couple buckets of shit every few weeks. shit makes the world go round.
