Leaf damage? Dtw coco

Idk yall but AI been actually able to help with actual grow info as well I just havent gave it a shot. It was telling me to cool my grow room with a swamp cooler for example. Its improved tho and used different ones like grok and chatgpt. It told me its unknown if hlvd can spread thru seeds which I found other day was wrong.

So that plant that was fading last run could very well be over transpiration forgive spelling. Idk much about how the plant actually works which is funny being this far in as a grower. I mean no one had said anything when I said it was hot and dry with led low and bright.

Id say that could very well be it is why I dont be changing my ph and ec. Just not advanced enough to do that but I see I need improvement dialing in dryback. It was actually ok before but just ended up bagging them and overwatering them to be safe.

The duration I keep the same, nice and long. 43sec with mild speed flowing water thru small two 1/4” drippers. If that is in line it usually covers a wide range of potential issues if I dont. Its not a ton of runoff tho like a quart out of a half gallon worth coco.

The bags increased root pressure which was fine in winter time as grow room is cool and dry. This summer its gutating too easily on overlapped leafs unlike before even tho Im aware to keep that minimum. You dont want to over defoliate either. Sometimes it just grows against you.

The root presssure increase could also effect its ability to cope with harsher environmental norms. Like warmer temps and less humidity since I just have it setup on continuous op the dehueys. I dont have a system to keep rh high enough just low as possible I only just now see the chance to put them on 35rh.

Its not that reliable on 40rh it just buffers to 45rh before turning on where as a inkbird can keep dry tent 60rh on dot. My ac is not very on point similarly to dehuey and it adds humidity. Sooo ya.

I added bags to slow down dryback this run and noticed I could feed as much as half the amount per day as usual 12x. Without bags it needed 8-12x a day which Im back to. Its not overwatered tho at that point unless its fine at 8x. I think I had one do 6x but it lacked rootmass was a liter pot vs half gallon worth of coco.

Its just a rough environment but maybe could soften some of it like the rh to 40-45% rather than 30-40rh. The box fans just have to smack em with wind thru and thru or PM will develop. People on youtube showing their grow like look dude. Its all opened op with pedestal fan blowing at them. It was a open corner style grow no tents.

Was beyond fustrated understandably saying look I got the freakin pm idk what im doing wrong. Wish I could comment but I normally dont on YT but would like to tell him I found out how to get rid of it shortly after watching that so even if I wanted to I cant find it.

He probably got it on the furthest plant and it spread inward or it started in a bushy inner canopy. The fan wont do shit just pointed at some plants. They either need to be next to the plant a big fan like that or boxfan but it only covers two plants from beside and not very well.

Got to be small plants well pruned and both in the right canopy height inline with fan to blow thru it. Like brushing fingers thru hair its gotta comb them. Its also rough hitting them from beside so expect windburn everywhere. So a box fan above barlight solves that and allows for maximum size plants/tent/area softer on the leafs.

Up to 3x3 coverage per box fan. Your grow will sound like a bee hive and take up a lot of juice at 55w per 3x3. If you have a better idea you tell me lol. It works but itll mess with dryback and etc. If you get past that you shouldnt see PM again and if you do just toss and try again. Im working on 6 plants half way in flower at harvest will be 19 plants ago I had PM.

Got to be something to it.. Gutation is a whole other way to get mold. It must help with budrot too because Ive pushed it 55rh briefly daily with bags on pots 12x a day fed. Fat colas. It dehydrates them from gutating but what Im saying is these changes will impact the plants they wont always look pretty moving forward.

As I learn you want to dryback, not literally but less moisture than if you just watered it. Its hard to describe. I just touch fabric pot and look at my hand, can I see water? No? It should only be like that for like an hour tops before feeding again. Or else it will go to shit drying out too much bone dry between waterings.

There will be some salt buildup, some leaf signs but ya. My output was pretty stagnant, ec and ph in/out was equal seemed right on track with the bags. Now its just gonna be well fed dark maybe some leaf damage, just not perfect but with bags and certain enviroment like summer typical issues.. Im not getting perfect growth anyway.

Seedlings already deficient. I started low ec 1.2. Dont tell me!!!! Il figure this one out myself. This is for the newer growers. My thread became a grow bible lots to learn here.

Again dont chime in this time until later, this a test of my knowledge. Things put in my own words etc.

Theyre pale and not really even able to get the next shoot out before the last set is spotting up. I need to find the sweet spot ec. Runoff wont tell me anything for at least 8 wks.

Recap of last plant that went thru this. So its super dark but at least gets a set of leafs in before the last burns and fades. Il let these go so I can have more to go off of. I got lucky and found sweet spot second attempt but its easy to miss it.

Fo far theyre pale so they probably underfed. It also can barely get a set of leafs before last burn up but its pale vs dark.

Ok so I can see why you start low, you can cross out that its not 1.2ec and slowly work up. I got like 5 weeks to flip. Just bump it up .1ec which is 70ppm. My tap is .5ec so its only getting .7ec nutes right now. It dont look horrible. Might even only do 35ppm every few days vs 70ppm a week. Will update in 5 wks.

I still need yall obviously when things come up but I think its ok to do this if I just post a couple times and move on. I got this its easy. Pretty basic 101 really.

i honestly think the way you are doing this is the best way to learn, its also how i learn, once you turely understand why things are happening the way they are you will be able to grow anything trust

Leafs stopped dying out after I removed bags too. I read the increased root pressure makes it harder to cope with harsher season. 87F highs and 40-50rh. Box fan overhead. Just showing signs of heavy transpiration so keeping led on 75%. Still growing girthy nugs just the genetics. One plant is dwarfy no matter how bright the led is.

New clones acting funny. And Im starting a breeding project? Lol. Well I had this happen before and fixed it by doing nothing. Look at the other clone same pheno like 3-4 flower cycles old. Salt build up, rootbound etc, still looks fine.

I see no signs of light damage. Ive had them just work through it before. Idk why all them doing it tho. Checked ph its fine. Could also be its a beat up 7th generation clones. Ready to retire which Il confirm this harvest. If its bad enough I wont even run it again, it confirms all my suspicions.

Yall can chime in if yall want I already diagnosed properly. Last time I was told lock out so I naturally headed in the right direction to solve. So credit kinda goes to them. Lock out is tricky to diagnose but after doing it once as you read here, you can break it down.

I juiced them up from 1.2ec to 1.3ec a lil over a week ago. Still pale but previous growth is holding up longer so Im close. So I raised to 1.35ec. If Im not mistaken, each .01 is 7ppm so I only raised it 35ppm this time vs 70ppm. Now to wait another week.

I been blind dosing bleach being lazy in the veg rez that those were feeding off. A few times I know I went overboard. I was told tho bleach cant do something like this but I wasnt doing something like this then. I use 2.5ml per 5 gal solution in my buckets as Im the bucket man.

I have a 25gal rez in basement for veg I just top off with left over nutes from flower room upstairs. When Im inbetween cycles it can count against me and go bad after a couple weeks of that. So I been blindly throwing what I thought was 2.5 to 5 ml bleach to 7-10 gal solution.

The times I went overboard I know it because it burned my nose of bleach. Im such a bastard lol. A quick AI search says you can burn them basicly and even kill them. Given the way they look Im sure its all good. I infact realize this laziness caused me to preserve a clone two generations ealier.

Anyway was gonna let is slide as Ive had clones do a little breaking in as a new plant. It reaolved later. This wouldnt of unless I just so happen to stop overkilling the bleach dose. I learned something tho. It can mess with photosynthesis and cause the burns I see.

The other clone is fine because its just a 5 gal bucket as Im the freakin bucket man lol. Infact I want to rid the 25gal rez for buckets so any pheno can get special treatment if possible. Being a bucket it didnt need bleach. The 25 rez needs a wave maker so higher water level so it perpetuates old solution.

The buckets dont need that and have a vivosun pump the kind that allows water level to drop to like a quarter inch. Easy to just toss that left over tiny bit and put new. I avoid cleaning the 25rez as its big bulky a pain and paper thin fabric being a flexi tank. Could poke a hole in it like I did.

Those only really good for dumping runoff and even then Im weary. Just leave it be and pump solution out if it and never clean it.

Anyway so the other clone didnt get this chlorene burn. Im reading how bad bleach can be in the coco its self so I might just take advantage of my way; and not use any sterilizer. Just maxibloom. I feed frequently and the buckets are buckets so they never go bad.

I swap solution and buckets daily. I leave a mark on one bucket to use to recycle left over nutes from 5 buckets, just dumped into that 6th bucket. Flower room this is. So next day I know to dump that marked bucket and not perpetuate those nutes down stairs. This is so at least one bucket can last 2 days while the other 5 need daily replacement.

Its cooler down stairs so the solution lasts much much longer. So if I still have left over nutes from upstairs which I tend to have a half gal, I can top off some of the buckets down stairs. If I just make a 5 gal solution I can feed 5 plants in veg with that.

Dumping that into a bigger rez like my 25 works good but if I had buckets its gonna complicate things more. Its whatever tho Il do whatever it takes. I was gonna add buckets/pumps as needed but once I have 5 or 6 just for one tent its gonna be hectic. For sure can use table as shelf that can hold well over 2 buckets worth up top and below.

You know what I have a clone with bucket to self and it lasts a while. Just topping it with a quarter or half a gal gets it to the next day. So it would be like having 6 of those.

That production tent will have 5-6 buckets, my mother tent and veg chamber could have 5 buckets if fully used. Or 4 for 4 different moms and their needs. Veg chamber uses a bucket that lasts even longer due to plants being solo cup sized rootballs. So 9-10 buckets down stairs for veg but each lasts like a week.

Ahhh Im the bucket mannnn Idk anyone who runs their shit with buckets like me.

Im glad I can solve issues lol. Usually am the perpetrader. I almost missed that one too. Im just a shotty grower and aspiring breeder. Like oops I accidently left a clone from 2 generations ago which drastically helps my problem Im having with it.

Im tellin ya this is a grow bible. This thread area isnt for learning its for receiving help. A grow bible of my own would best be in general marijuana growing. A prohibition word lol they should call it cannabis but whatever Im sure theres a good reason.

I try to stop using the bad words my self. Its burned into my head from growing up 10 years in prohibition. I told my fam about this and they called them grow-nouns. Its about the plant so that one can slide lol.

Youd think its only matter time before the buckets drive me insane and quit. Well the further I go into my private breed project the more it seems to be a solid way to get what I want. If Im seeing everything accurately.

If I am, Id only need to do one flower run oer year. I already did, would be 4 runs in a few weeks.. This way. Hundreds of buckets per run. I got this baby!

Shyaa. Yaaa she good. Guud. Just doing my due diligence showin community it worked.

Lol she look rough still but in person shes turning around. Those bleached white spots you saw would of kept coming back. If she really did get toxic its not gonna bounce over night this like not even week later. I can just tell, I know my babycakes. When she let me down it turns out I was letting her down. Its just about time for something new.
