I think I am gonna drill a couple more holes in the side of the bottom so I can stick the meter in way down there....I also did a little more trimming....take a looksie...the last pic looks to me like I have a bunch of little green bananas all over the girl...lol

lol....where there's your problem right there idiot<-------talking to myself.....anyway...yeah....shit. So I stuck the ph meter in the holes at the bottom and it slammed all the way over to 3.5.....so the bottom of my bucket is fucked and the top is fine....more holes and a flush I am thinking...lots more holes

kool, let me know how you get on. Mine were the same and they aint been watered in over a week. I dried the soil using newspaper.

If you're just sticking a pH meter in soil, the reading is also going to depend on how wet it is. It is better to measure either by using runoff or by taking samples of the soil, adding water of known pH, and then measuring the paste. Ideally, you're watering/flushing often enough that your pH is consistent throughout your medium.

nice tips ceestyle, I normally take a sample and then test that but recently been going on the meter, and you absoloutly right, the more mosture in the soil.. the higher the ph reading.

i find that drier soil only takes longer to show ph...so I leave the meter in there for 20 minutes then check it...

from bottom up.leave 1/3 the leaves on the top only.it will slow down for like 2days to heal the wounds but then it will dub in mass,bc more penetrating light and nothing blocking and reflecting light to lower bud production.its a no brainer.its basicly premanicuring.just take the fans off and make some tea with them

post pics after and the pile of leaves.really get in the plants and work ur clippers.just be careful with trimmin but get in there and make cuts about 1/2cm from the stock,the leftover 1/2cm will die back to the stalk and flake off

looks better,dont water for a day then after a day goes by,the doupyness should subside and the leaves should go into full use again.put the light alittle higher away so it doesnt kill the bleedin plant.
