Leaf Chompers!

Hey guys, I have something chomping on my leaves and I can't find pics anywhere to match. Been searching all morning and zilch. I do however, have a picture of the damage and maybe it'll help in a diagnosis.

So these critters, (I have only seen one so far) are light brown/tan colored. They are round and about the size of a pin head with a shiny chitinous shell and they have wings. I tried to grab the one I saw and it popped it wings and flew off very fast. Seemed to be a beetle of some sort, but I can't say for sure. It was definitely round, with only one visible body segment. No discernible stripes or spots.

I'm fairly sure it's not a gnat or thrip or anything in that family. It's wings came out from under it's shell. The closest image I can find is the flea beetle, but the images don't really match up.

I have used diatomaceous earth before, but looks I may need a foliar spray or something since these guys fly. I'm in full on flower and I need to keep my buds/flowers in mind.

Now, on to the damage!

if its just one kill it
if its more than that put up some sticky fly traps and cross your fingers
or relocate your plants but shake them in your room before you take them out
then spray the room wait a couple hours then wipe the room down and replace the plants

thanks man. yea, gonna scrub down the room, always a good place to start I guess. only on one plant so it's not a total train wreck at least.

Make sure you take a pic before you kill it though.
it could always end up as a problem sometime in the future for you & you cant do shit if you cant ID the pest.
