This is one of my grow rooms. I just got done flushing one plant. Now I just wait and when it all dries up I can whisk broom and vacuum it. I made a cheapo flood table about a foot off of the floor. I put a drain in it. I covered it with pool liner ( available for free at most pool places ).
I got tired of stumbling around in the grow room, breaking branches, duct taping them back up and getting blinded. I made these lift blocks from dollar store containers. 50 cents a container.
I can easily move the plants from side to side as needed or I can make them closer or farther away from the light by taking away or adding containers. Everything is at an easy level to work with.
About once a week I flood the table with soapy water with a little bleach in it to keep things clean.
The table is just 2X4s and a couple sheets of what ever was cheapest.
I hope someone can use these ideas and save a few bucks.

Nice looking light spectrum. Mixing LED with HPS? How is that affecting trich quality/yield?

Love it. if space permitted I'd be doing something similar. I'll keep your ideas in mind for the future. Thanks for sharing!

Those dollar store containers are perfect for a 3 hour notice to have to leave town...10 days in my case. Some cheap bags of Home Depot dirt and a good soaking. Slap some Neem oil on the leaves to slow growth. The only casualty was me from mosquitos that were able to do their thing in a small cup of water.

Yup, LED and HPS for now. I am going all LED for my 4 grow rooms. In transition now. Meanwhile I did find out that somehow the LED light gets inside the branches and makes more buds. I have been growing the same strains in the same rooms for years, the LED's are..well..different...I have a lot to learn. I'm just finishing up my first all LED grow in one room...makes less heat, and doesn't dry the soil... I am watering half as many times now..whooda thunk it ?

Very nice friend. I am building my garden piece by piece from scratch since January 1st 2018 and it's so much fun and nobody knows I've spent maybe $200 total on it and at about $1,200 value now, simply by barter and trade amongst fellow growers. Give love, get love. Namaste.

I have yet to get ambitious and get a tester to see how much current LEDS draw. I will soon. My electric bill has been cut in half. I don't know if it's from less draw from the LED's, or the fact that I was able to eliminate half the fans and the dehumidifier or both. My air conditioning bill should be much less this coming summer. I have about 20 strains growing, each one is a surprise100_9687a.JPG with the LEDS.....still learning here.. Above is a plant that I kept going just to see what it is. Most of these leafs have 1 petal on them. Strange ! ! !

Cob 600 for $100 is about the best I found.800 for $109.00. I have 5 different brand lights right now, all LED. That cob600 is definitely better and for about the same price, getting cheaper all the time I see.

Awesome, man! Thanks for the find on that. Yeah those cobs seem nice, and they're certainly more cost effective it looks like.
So is there a difference in light spectrum between those cobs and an aquarium light?
Someone specifically told me about aquarium lights and their spectrum being used to produce a "frostier" yield.
