That's a cool idea, holding down the netpots. I'd be a little worried about metal from the screws leeching into the water. An alternative that works just as well is to drill 4 small holes in the netpots rims, as well as holes in the lid, matching up where the netpots holes are. Then you can use small zipties to secure the netpots to the lids.
screws are coated and meant for wetwork, outside use.
Just re read what you wrote. The screws are not holding the net pot. It is used to attach the LST training boards to the net pot. Makes it really convenient trimming and doing LST because I can just spin the net pot in place as I go over her.
That's a nice innovation there. I will be saving this idea for when I do dwc
