Larger Scale DWC Grows (5 Gal) Recirculating

Ive been lurking around learning a lot on this site for a few months..

Im Curious if anyone here is doing any larger scale grows with DWC in 5 gallon buckets??

Plan is 9 Plants (buckets) in a rotating system, 1 month at each of 4 stations.. 2 veg 2 flower..

plan is similar to that, but with one 5 gallon for the reservoir.

I need to Grow Large Plants to keep my numbers down and stay within the limits of my Medical Patients..

if you build that you will be very happy, lol, and have some huge ass trees. Keep it at least as big as his, by five gallon reservoir, I think you may be thinking that these trees wont drink that much, but you will go in to check and it will be empty. On craigs list you can buy for 20 bucks right now 50 gallon barrels. With one res change in veg and one in flower you would not have to spend a billion on nutes. It is about keeping enough water in their to keep your system balanced also. But hey if you wanna watch it all day and top it off every day then you could do it like that. Personally I would use his control with that 50 gallon barrel. Then just top off with more nutes when I saw the plants get bigger. But they will be huge nevertheless. Also get a some 1000 watters in there. Lots of guys with trees like to hang 1000 watters vertically between the trees. GL.

Yeah Isotel I run larger scale dwc setups and am hooked. In my opinion dwc, kfb and similar setups are the way to go for huge yields and quick turn overs..
Right now I am running an experimental table setup for shits n giggles. Although I have seen some amazing growth with it I will be converting back to good ol' dwc when I am finished..

Seems like alot of people have different names for the same thing..

My plan is 10" C.A.P. Nets that fit on top of the 5 gallons, Hydroton, Big Air Pump, Nice Airstones. 1/2" fill, with 3/4" drains. 5 gallon controller bucket with An Auto Top off Float Valve Connected to a large Raised 55 Gallon Drum outside my room. then i can fill that and PH it.. Possibly put some Nutes in it to keep the Levels Proper when the Ladies Drink.

Now, Questions for you guys.. How many Sq ft would i be safe per plant? How long do i need to Veg to get them this big?

The area i have is a Clone/ Small Plant DWC under Floro's, a 4x3 Veg Area with a 400w MH, and a 4x8 Flower area that will have two 600w HPS.. and two stages of Prepetual Harvest..

I would like to harvest once a month.. Im thinking of doing 4 Buckets/Plants per area, and doing a Screen of Green Style Grow..

But like i said im a newbie, Let me know if you have other ideas! Maybe im Better off with another Style based on my room size.. My plan is to add another larger room (12x10) in a year, so mastering the DWC 5 Gallon thing is my goal so i can easily expand..
