lake tahoe best coast genetics

Started 5 seeds from a pack I bought last year. Put distilled water in a shot glass and left the seeds to soak for 24 hours.

On 11/18/21, I planted each seed into a cell tray with CoM sprout island mix and kept the soil slightly damp. By 11/23, all 5 broke through and looking good.

Transplanted a few days later when the root tips started breaking through along the sides of the pots. I also needed to transplant sooner than expected due to my attempt at reamended soil mix being deficient in some areas.

Potted up to 3 gallon with fresh CoM Stonington on the 18th. They bounced back and looking great. Going to top and clone tonight or tomorrow, then get some cuts into the flower tent to see who's got balls.

Looking good.

We had bomb ass weed in Truckee. I'm guessing I was smoking Tahoe OG a bunch and didn't even know it.

I drove to Grand Junction to pick up a lady friend and brought an OZ with me. Let's just say I was a popular one at this big ass party, lol.

Here we are a couple weeks later. Up to 11 alt nodes now on most plants. I didn't end up topping them but will do that in the next day or two. The flower tent is still holding a key lime chem pheno that takes 12-13 weeks and still has a week to go, if not more. So I turned down the lighting and just have two t8 fixtures providing enough to get by.

They've all shown sex and only 1 male in the batch of 5. Going to throw that fella into a flower tent and collect some pollen.

What strain is it? There's very few threads about best coast genetics. Is it the Tahoe x (bluedream x afgani)?

That's correct, but my pack just said "Lake Tahoe" as the name.

I finally got my flower tent going a few weeks ago with the three females from the 5 pack.

Sick Tahoe OG is underrated possibly the best I've seen so far. Keep posting updates! What kind of lighting and nutes are you running? If u can show pics of flowering and the bud when it's done.

Soil grow using coast of Maine Stonington blend.
Added fish bone meal that the root zone upon transplant.
Coast of Maine plant dry food top dressed every two weeks.
Fish emulsion during stretch to give a little more N.
Weekly Recharge.

Did a little cleaning up under the canopy the other night. Before and after at about 3 weeks from flip. Three different phenos.

Looks good. Yellowing early though ide add a PK boost right now if u can, like high phosphorus bat guano or shrimp meal asap and some fish emulsion or something with N then more K and less P after week 5 ish. Good luck! Let us know how it smokes! Does it seem like OGish or more bluedream or afgani? Which one of the parent strains smell seems to be dominating basically is what I'm wondering at this point.

Couple of weeks later and hitting the halfway point. Here we are at 5 weeks from flip. These three plants are each a little different. Front and center is the most demanding for sure. All plants top dressed every two weeks. Even after a fish emulsion it is still showing some deficiencies. Back right is similar, but improved much quicker after getting fed. Back left is cruising along.

They each have their own aroma, so it is hard to pick out characteristics while they are all in the same tent.

Back left has squatter structure and the bud forms like fat footballs. The other two are a little more spaced out and spear like.

I kind of expected one of the phenos to finish early based on the fact that one of the mom's fully set flower under 18/6. That is the back left corner plant. We shall see, but I'm in no rush for stash and can take as much time as they need. Thinking end of July will be hanging, just in time to shut the tent down for the dog days.

If you can take some resin shots near the end maybe. Idk if you have a good enough camera but that'd be cool. I don't think there's many pics of bestcoast stuff on the internet but yours looks better then the pic they use to sell it for sure. I bot 15 magpie the other day. Looking for a heavy indica.

Chugging along, 6 weeks from flip. Top dressed with soil and some coast of Maine Stonington plant food over all three pots. Then gave a light fish emulsion to carry them a little bit along until the dry amendments get broken down.
