Hey ya'll

Running a Sativa grow this time around with some Super Lemon Haze, Chocolope, and Strawberry Cough from ILGM. Choco's slightly behind the rest.
Looking to do a 5-6 week veg then switch to 12/12. Plan was not to do any HST but I'll be Dual-lining (like mainlining, but two?) for 8 colas each to try and let me buddies plants catch up. These babies were transplanted 2/27.

I'll try to keep this as up to date as possible, follow if you choose!

Specs:
AC Infinity 4x4x6
Vortex VTX 600L / Phresh filter / 2x AC Infinity 120mm intake fans .
2x Oscillating clip on interior fans
3 gal Fabric pots
Mars Hydro TSL2000
Flora Flex Micro Drip
Flora Flex nutrient line
Promix HP / Worm Castings / Dr. Earth 4-4-4

After 10 Days of Veg (18/6)

Hey ya'll

Little bit of catching up to do with the posts

Plants are doing really well, very pleased with the growth 10 days later. There was one hiccup along the way, I miscalculated my volume with the micro drip system and slightly overwater these gals.

Regardless, they seem to be handling it pretty well. On most plants we are almost at our 7th node. One of the chocolopes is slightly behind. I plan on giving these ladies a haircut tomorrow. Stay tuned.

After 11 Days of Veg

Hey ya'll

Ended up giving these fine fine ladies a haircut to try and let my buddies plants catch up. Waited until 6-7 nodes, topped to 4, and removed 1 & 2. Was very pleased with the growth that happened underneath. The one chocolope is still lagging and I think it's just something I'll have to accept going forward.

The plan is to let these get to 5 nodes, top to 3, and remove 1 & 2 for a total of 8 main stalks

Not excited for the training ahead lol

After 18 Days in Veg

Growth continuing nicely after the top. These should be ready for their next topping in 3-4 days.

Going to let them grow out to 5ish nodes, top down to 3rd, and then strip everything else to get my 8 mains.

Went a little too heavy to one of the feedings so you'll notice some burnt tips. Also had some temp/humidity fluctuations but nothing severe.

Hoping to flip these in about 2 weeks.

Thoughts?

After 28 Days in veg

Hey ya'll

Been some time since the last update so I figured I'd drop one for you today. SUPER happy with where we're at today after 28 days of veg.

I transplanted these bitches into 5 gal pots 3 days ago and they seem to be loving it. All plants had very nice root structures containing almost 90% of the soil.Soil mix for transplant is the same as before minus the 4-4-4, going 75% on the EC, and wetting the soil with 1/3 strength veg food and 2/3 strength Recharge.

One plant did start yellowing out a little but I believe it was more of a light issue than anything. It's starting to come back nicely (plant I'm talking about is middle left, which also happens to be the plant I snapped a branch on).

The half-assed attempt at crop-steering has being going nicely. As mentioned I have changed quite a few factors since last run, but I believe I'm seeing a noticeable difference.

The strawberry cough's in the back are doing great! I'm thinking it's due to having a more stable environment (the ones in the front are subject to a higher frequency of temp/humidity changes when the door is opened)..or I could chalk it up to pheno. Who knows.

Light is currently at 50% ~20inches from canopy. Over the next few days I'll be lowering both slightly to prepare for the switch to flower (I want to control node spacing before the stretch)

Lastly, I went ahead and ordered 6 4-way micro drippers as the 2-way just doesn't cover enough area for 5 gal pots for my liking.

I'll be looking to flip these 4/2 at this rate. We will see what the growth this week looks like.

Questions/Comments welcome!!

After 33 days in Veg

Hey ya'll

I'm preparing to flip these in the next few days. Lowered my platforms as far as they could go to allow for the most space up top.

My 4 way drippers came in, slightly modified my closed loop to try to get more even pressure. The 2 way drippers were just not cutting it for my liking with the 5 gallon pots.

Went ahead and did my preflower defoliation and installed a homemade scrog setup to try and even out the canopy. There are a few nodes that are slightly behind which has me concerned. I'm hoping they don't get left behind. I may have to do some more targeted defoliation if they're getting taken over. I want to give these a little time to bounce back. It took quite some time to install the new irrigation system and scrog so they were out of optimal environment for a couple hours.

All in all the plants are still growing vigorously. Getting them bloom nutrients ready! Super hyped to try to Full Tilt Schedule with Bulk B form floraflex. I've got nothing but good things to say about the veg nutrients! I think the results speak for themselves.

Let me know your thoughts on the grow. I'd love some feedback!

After 7 days in veg ( 42 days since beginning of veg)

Hey ya'll

We are 1/3 of the way through stretch hell after flipping these lovely ladies to 12/12 light cycle.

For the past 7 days, I really tried to control nodal spacing by having the light fairly close and on higher intensity (apprx 16-18in 65% intensity), hence the slightly yellow new growth.

Overall things have been going well. Learning how to use these new floraflex nutrients so going through some of the growing pains (no pun intended).

Environment has been at a steady 80-82f, 69ish rh. One of my oscillating fans took a shit today, another one on the way tomorrow.

These got hit with some recharge at flip and I've been using the full tilt schedule with bulky b. EC 1.6-1.8 generally speaking. They got calmag twice in the grow, once during veg, and once after flip.

One thing I do have some questions on is the defolation. I defol'd heavy at flip, but we've seen some nice veg growth since then. Last grow I waited it out until day 21, but I think I waited too long because there were underdeveloped nodes blocked by the light. Is it standard practice to do another defol before the day 21, or just gradual day to day defol?

Thanks any and all for the input!

After 20 days since flip

Hey ya'll

Plants are looking real nice! dealing with some height differences issues but overall very pleased with the growth! These things are really starting to throw some pistils and increase in size. Super happy with the node spacing on almost all of the plants. There's a few nodes that I'm not too thrilled about but we'll see what happens.

I went ahead and rearranged the plants, to put the smaller ones in the center, and raised 3 of the plants about 3-4 inches to try to make up for the height difference.

These have been getting straight water since I started see burn signs last week. I'll probably give them a couple more waters before introducing nutes again. These things are THIRSTY!

Threw on a second scrod to space out the stalks evenly.

Excited for what's to come in the next 10 or so weeks!

Comments/questions welcome
