I was just reading the Seedmans blog about making and using lactobacillus to increase terpenes. Has anyone tried this?

I wouldn't feed my plants milk. The molasses can raise the Brix level though. So if anything is helping increase the terpenes, I'd guess it's that. But I wouldn't overdo it. I think it's usually best in teas. Healthy soil helps too.

Edit: After reading that link, it makes more sense. He's not adding straight milk or rice, but just the liquid that I'm sure is full of microbes. So that actually doesn't sound bad, but sounds like a bunch of work, lol.

I use it because I use it in my vege gardens. Honestly, I dont see much difference whether I use it or not but I have no real way of measuring the terpenes. It is simple to make and use so give it a try and see how you go.

You could always try some EM-1

If you dont notice any difference - and you probably wont unless you're doing a KNF style of growing- just use it for other purposes.
Its very effective on pet odors, drains, septics, etc
