kush identification

couple weeks ago me and my buds were going out of town and could only get a quarter from our usual guy for 110, no more weight tho...
So I called my commercial dealer (who happens to be black). I never really knew what he smoked on, but after inquiring about some primo he said $550/oz.

Now I have NEVER paid more than 400 for a z of primo. And when he showed me a bag of small nugs.... I laughed. But I smelled it and it had an almost offensive underarm, musty smell to it..never smelled anything like it before.
We picked it up, and it was the best nug I've ever smoked. We smoked a fatty before we went into the club that night... and I was amazed at the soaring yet mellow high. Not racey at all, just centered and completely uplifted.

So i'm thinking some kind of kush, but can someone help as to the specifics, maybe by the smell??? I'd really like to get my hands on this strain...

400 an O is fine.. Not all of us have access to fucking dispensaries. The weed where I am at is on par with the weed that I have had from cali, but since we do not have the grace of decrim or medical, we suffer the price. Pics would assist, sounds like good bud.

the smell was so similar to straight musk tho seriously...onion'y armpitty. The flavor was much better though...
The nugs were nothing special to look at.. but a very centered high not racey yet up like sativa... a high all of its own it seemed almost independent of the typical indica/sativa choices.

yea bro like 90% of the rest of this DuPont-run world we can't go to the five and dime for a five or dime like you

Could it have been a hash plant? Mix it with a Sativa and you might get what you descibe. Brakes going down a hill but a fun ride! I've seen those with small tight nugs that smelled really dank and funky. Really hard to tell without a pick of a bud and then it still may be difficult. Around here the going rate for mid stuff is $180-200. Primo or hydro runs $350-400

Yes exactly areas charge different prices. We all have heard of supply and demand. A oz of kush in my area would run 450 500 easy if not more. An oz of northern lights or diesel would run about 350 400.

not quite as spicy/garlicy as hash plant...


the know-it-all kids down the block get jipped on hash plant that is kif screened (completely) for 250/z. haha

Makes you think of what you'd do if you grew commercially kiss-ass

if it had a musty smell and u payed 550 a zip it was probly some kinda kush especially if it was some of the best you ever smoked

Didn't mean to invoke an uproar against folks that use dispensaries, or be a thread stealer. I don't use one, never have. And here, for the past 15 years, the weed has been $180-250 an ounce. There is just so much of it around, that nobody is gonna charge or pay any more than that.

yeah that can happn when you tell a bunch of pot heads they can get their zones 2 or 300hundred less in another region, they start thinking about life changes , I was pissd at 500....luckily I don't have those problems anymore...
