Kush harvest with white mold. Can I smoke?

I know mold in the lungs is nasty. I'm a personal trainer/martial artist and greatly rely on my lung power for my daily life so I'll dismiss my entire harvest if need be, but I really want to burn down on this beautiful Vanilla Kush if I can. The mold isn't very noticeable and you can only see it if you peel the bud away from the stem and look closely so I'm thinking this shouldn't be any more dangerous than accidentally eating an old slice of bread with spores on it. If I absolutely should not please let me know, but if its no biggie that would make my day :hump:
REP+ for help.

That's gonna depend on alleergies you may have.....if you are allergic to penicillin which is derived from mold...then I would NOT suggest you partake of moldy weed...Having a chronic lung issue myself and allergies to mold, I too have to be careful...Burn with care....

I don't have any allergies or respiratory problems once so ever. I want to roll a test blunt and see how my lungs & stomach feel but I'm still sketched out. This bud is bomb, too :?

Just out of curiosity what happens to the mold if you ground up the infected bud(s) and made cannabutter with it?

I definitely would not use it to make cannabutter. I have smoked moldy bud before, and I have had a chronic cough since about a week after that. I don't know if there is any connection, but I sure as shit wouldn't be surprised.

Yea but wouldn't the act of boiling water with butter effectively kill off the mold?

Never smoke PM infected bud, this causes some severe lung problems. Why in the hell do you think dispenceries are checking buds for PM,if your really concerned about your health you will get rid of that weed and watch your crop closer next time. You do know you now have spores all over your grow, the only way I got rid of PM was a sulfer burner, dehudifier and moveing alot of air...peace

Yea, Its hurts to have to toss out your bud.
I get in there when I am trimming and cut out all the moldy stuff I can find. Sometimes that leaves nothing left of the bud.
I have heard its good to make bubble out of it, I tried it and didn't like the taste of the hash. Guess its just better to toss it.

If it's all up in the buds, DO NOT smoke it. I would say you might be safe to separate it, grind it up and make butter then bake with it. I have heard water hash is a good way to rinse that out, maybe add a little H202 to the water when you do...? Just a thought. Remember though, killing the biological life is not the issue, it's the mycotoxins that the mold will build up as waste that are the real danger. Mycotoxins are not life that can be cooked out, they are byproducts of the fungal replication. They are possibly suspended as a poison in solvents so butane or acetone would not "kill" them. Beyond light powdery mildew on fan leaves I would toss it.

yeah i knew someone who just makes bubble hash out of molded shake -budz and its really not that bad :)

Shoot...my biggest buds have mold all up inside them of course but I can still salvage some popcorn nugs that weren't harmed. I like the hash and cannabutter idea, but being a rastaman I need to burn my herb for sacrament, not bake brownies.
