You think a methadone patient like myself could get off methadone using kratom?

tbh your just trading one for another but it WILL curb your urge to use opiates

but you run the risk of just switching what your dependant upon

mind you your not gonna die from a kratom habit but still the URGE is there

in your position currently with methadone being the case your best bet might be what ANC said about Ibogaine treatment

its honeslty a life changer a complete RESTART

Sounds like its effects will be unpredictable unless we have another methadone user here that can help out

ther is no such thing as a good opiate.

Ibogaine in all respects is a sequenceof life changing occurrences. Many recount it to the creation of there own self. It's an eternity of a trip that seems to never end. It's not for the faint of heart but there's no other option when addiction has you by deaths' grip!

However, let's not jump too far from the main topic at hand.

As Uunk said, you might be substituting an addiction for another addiction. I'm sure Kratom use is much more escapable then Methadone use as Heroin addicts themselves say Methadone is a harder habit to kick.

I unfortunatly know the mind of an addict from a first hand perspective.

I agree the iboga is just a start of a chain of events, like disassociating with other users, etc.
But it allows you to do so without the pains and anguish of withdrawal.

The ibogain treatment is hard to get though isn't it?
