Can I use KoolBloom 2-45-28 for the first or second week? The hydro store guy said I can use it in the first week but the instruction said use it for the last 2 to 3 week.

I have always heard that a bloom supplement should be used heavily during the 4th week of flowering. You can use it as much as you want but there is a time in the plants life where it will use it. Times outside of that blooming window will be basically wasting the stuff. I believe that there will be a small benefit to using it all the time but there is also the added possibility of nutrient burn. What are you looking for exactly? Bigger buds? More buds? Heavier buds? Obviously we want all of these but realistically what do you hope to accomplish by adding koolbloom? I would follow the directions on the bottle.

I want all of the above. I'm using floranova bloom along with floralicious plus. I just want to know if I can use koolbloom dry on the first or second week of flowering and then use it again on week 8.

Follow the labels and stick to the liquid kool bloom for the initial stages .. Some people even claim that there is a hormone or chemical added to dry kool bloom that can stress plants and bring out herms .. Not sure on this though but I do know that a little goes a long way and regardless of its composition and label it can make nanners if used heavily or too early on in the game ..

I have heard about this herm thing before with koolbloom.
My buddies used koolbloom powder and they did get herms. Correlation, but causation?

Personally I wouldn't use extreme NPK ratios. A healthy plant with lots of foilage will be the best yeilder with the most budistes. However, snake oil does make one feel good from time to time I must admit (from experience)
