Knowing What to "Top It Off" With

I'm in my 3rd grow right now with 5 Auto Northern Lights plants in a 4'x4' grow tent using hydroponics. My nutes are the GH Flora Series (Micro, Grow, Bloom) with Calimagic. Hydroguard and Koolbloom (during flowering stage). I meticulously check my reservoir twice daily (morning and night) and among other things, measure pH, PPM, water temp, air temp and rH. I keep a log of all of the data.

Early on in my growing education, I saw talk of the need to "top off" the reservoir water level, as needed, between change-outs (which I do every 10 - 12 days). And as prescribed, I have done just that. But the one thing I've never really seen is a clear definition of WHAT do I use to "top it off" with? Obviously, the answer to that depends on what growing stage you are in. So, I've been using a combination of GH Micro + Grow + Calimagic during the Vegetative states, while using a combo of GH Micro + Bloom + Koolbloom + Calimagic in the Flowering states. Towards the final couple of weeks of flowering, I use no Micro and just Koolbloom (between 3 ml/gal - 5 ml/gal and I have an 8-gallon reservoir capacity) to top off things. In both cases, the Vegetative and Flowering states, I use an amount of the nutes I mentioned that'll bring the PPM level (or EC, is you choose) to optimum levels for that stage of growth.

My question to all you experts out there is, "Am I doing this right? Am I missing anything I should be doing or doing differently to get better results?"

Thanks in advance for your consideration!
