Thanks for the root porn
hey Watts
notice the green band on the last pic ^ about 2 inches down....it appears that the green band aligns to the clear portion of the external container, so I'm thinking maybe the green pop bottle is not enough to completely inhibit the growth of the green-alga.......I'll consider taping to the top next time

Nice Harvest ISK. That rootball is packed, very nice. She put out some
fat colas for sure.

I do see a slight bit of algae like you say. Doesn't appear too bad so
the green bottle must help some.

I'd have to agree that the green is not enough. My 2gal buckets have made many runs and the paint has chipped and I'll see little green spots and I'm sure they line up with the flaked off areas.

I jarred the buds yesterday, they are smelling really good already

My preliminary weight is 78 grams, which is likely close give or take a few grams

All in all this KISS grow did not go as good as I would have liked, as I have done better but I'm happy with the quality

These were not my healthiest plants ever grown as I had a lot of dead leaves which is not the normal...something went wrong but not sure what

Anyhow, at the end of the day, I hope a few people have enjoyed my thread and hopefully a few more people go with hempy

cheers

Very nice ISK. Nothing feels better than jarred meds. So now with summer almost here, are you going to run those Latina girls again? (Looks like they are ready) And with the added sun is it going to be 2L or 2gal?

big dilemma for me...as one of the Mexican's is male, so death to the bastard but assuming the other is female, what to do with her....as I'm in a 11/13 schedules with those LED bulbs and I really don't want to piss around with it until October...I'm limited to only 5 plants, so why waste a tag on a lame duck?

I want to grow auto-fem's for my 2015 indoor sunshine grow, so I'm thinking the Latina chica has got to take a hike.

78 grams off of a 2L grow. Simply spectacular results ISK.
thanks stoneslacker

I'm actually really surprized at the yield from both this Early Miss and the DLF, as they both produced more than I would have guessed.

Last year's indoor sunshine grow was a DLF (in a 2 litre bottle) and it only produced 36 grams and the Revolver (3 gallon bucket) was 72 grams

this recent HPS grow produced 49 grams for the DLF and 78 grams for the EM but yet both plants looked smaller than their sunshine counterparts

I would have bet money the HPS grow would have been less weight than last year's sunshine grow but I guess the HPS produces tight heavy buds

@WattSaver ...so you know how sometimes we worry about trivial dilemmas, this is such the case for me. I'm not feeling good about killing my Mexican chica so was thinking of alternative ideas and/or who could adopt her and then the ganja gods surprized me......it's a drag queen with balls, a fringing male......I can now kill it with no guilt :)

BTW guys...I hope you come visit my 2015 Indoor Sunshine grow....have 5 different strains of Crop King auto-fem's, all in hempy of course

Hey ISK I checked out Crop King, looks like some nice strains. So in Canada is it legal as a med user to order seeds in any providence in the of the country and have them delivered? Looks like they have distribution from coast to coast. Here in Colorado where it's legal, the only seeds available over the counter have to be produced within the state. So far I'm not that excited over what the locals have done.

Once the chica showed balls, had to be an easy decision. (they don't have an emoticoncon for killing a bad thing (that's probably a good idea)) >:(

actually in Canada it's legal to own/buy/sell seeds, you do not need any medical card to purchase them from various legitimate seed stores, some have walk-in stores

I buy from them because it's cash in hand, no internet or delivery worries, I see what I'm buying...while supporting a local company

I like this. First time I bought seeds it was from a store back in Spain. Very nice service, possibility to choose the best looking and best packaged seeds, plus you get to see it literally pulled out of the fridge. And a nice conversation with the vendor. I envy you, ISK!

that's exactly what this one store is like, you can see the fridge that she pulls the seeds out of.... while smoking a joint

I never seen any seed stores in Spain, but I wasn't looking for them either...loved the hash they had there, it was like paradise

(Ignore those two Autos in soil there, I want to move them upstairs any day to have my greenhouse entirely soil free)

The black pots I use (11L/2.9gal, 7L/1.8gal) are actually some weird type of air-pot available here very cheap, this is why I got them to try them out.

My smallest one, this is only a 1gal pot, started to get algae so I covered it and added 3ml 3% H2o2 per L, I will probably do this from now on since I am in Spain and it gets CRAZY hot. This is a greenhouse outside and I have no way to keep temps in check. And I am sure light+heat== algae in Summer, for sure!

By the way I just got incredibly excited about Floranova Bloom (Lucas). Not that I say Flora Trio is bad, but the mixing is always a little annyoing especially if you hand-water and need to mix small batches, like 3L, 4L etc.

I discovered something great about Floranova Bloom an Lucas Formula (8ml/gal), if you do the math (works up to 10L).

If you mix some smaller amount of water and need to know how much ml Floranova Bloom you need

Take the amount of water x 2 and then the water amount after the decimal, like:

5 L = 10.5ml (5x2=10)
3 L = 6.3ml (3x2=6) etc.
4 L= 8.4ml
6 L= 12.6ml

This is STUPID easy and very easy to remember, cool if you water in small batches without a tank, say if you grow in Hempies.
I am about to get me Floranova Bloom just to try this and I haven't seen any negative reports about it yet. Easier than always mixing the three.

Edit: On the side you see my ridiculous tiny seedlings which I replanted too early. I will just use plain water for the next days to promote them growing a little more.

Edit2: Light is 4x CREE CXB3590. Currently dimmed down because this is too much light for vegging :) I did the math, my area 1.15x0.55 == almost 900PPFD. For vegging you'd need only 250-300PPFD. Can only dim down to 550PPFD tho.

Hey ISK. I gave up on Hempy man. Went back to soil. Just got tired of PHing. Still love the method. I'm just lazy as hell. Anyway. This thread really should be stickies somewhere. That root ball. Amazing as always!
