hello
I want to switch frim my blurples to a cob kit. Before we get off into the - blurples are shit train- let me say i have grown some decent nugs i have never had issues i dont want to bash them bit...!cobs are better and i want better nugs :)
So im down to 300w clu048 1212
Or 250w clu048 1216 - my grow space is
29" x 35" = 7.04 sq ft - soil grow fans etc.
My hope is to use only 4 of the cobs im the space using the driver with the kit i believe its hlg 320-?? and then get 2 hgb 60- 1400ma drivers to make 1 or 2 auto cob type lights i can use elsewhere depending on wich kit i get both are about the same price the 6 cob 300w 1212 is $344
The 5 cob 1216 is $338 any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated like is 4 -50w 1212 enough for that space amd 3-4 plants
Or should i bump up and use 4 - clu0481216 cobs. Im just not sure the ugh or do i need 250 min...ugh

If you're tied to cobs I'd probably stay with a 4 array fixture. The 5 array will probably create a hotspot in the center. Another option I'd suggest would be 5-2' double row F-strips with a HLG 240-48B driver on a 24x18 cookie sheet. Simple, easy to construct, hang and will crush that space. You can build it for less than $1/watt. This is the 4 strip unit I built with a 185W driver.

Wow i must say
necasity is the mother of invention. what are the strips like i dont know what f strips are- what are diodes and watts per diode.
im not dead set on the cobs but i like that they can be used with more freedom like 4 in one area and 2 in another ect...
