Killer Green DWC kit...

:wall::?:I bumped into this on ebay, and I have only had experience with soil grow and wanted to dry this method instead. Now I know one can build a DWC system for cheap by just visiting the store, etc. but I just wanted to know if this kit in specific would do the trick along with those lights, i'm a noob at hydro. Also I would not be growing more than two plants this time around, so would this be enough space? I know the yield amount won't be huge, but it'll still be cheaper and more than getting it from a source. Thanks for any feedback, it is greatly appreciated!!! Here is the ebay link: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=200702042667&category=43555&_trksid=p5197.c0.m619

I did a little looking on ebay and the t5 tight that comes with it makes it a deal. But I would look at walmart or home depot for a t5 light see how much it is there. I saw good DWC kits for 50 with free shipping. The lights were 85+. I would give it a 6 out of 10.

Looks too small. Four gallons for four plants! --You better grow some small ass plants!

Save your money and do it right. -- Buy a light, build a bubble bucket from Walmart for $20. The DIY is easy, works great, and much better than the shit you buy locally.

I have only had practical exposure to ground develop and desired to dry this strategy instead. Now I know one can develop a DWC program for inexpensive by just viewing the shop, etc. but I just desired to know if this kit in particular would do the secret to success along with those signals, i’m a beginner at hydro. Also I would not be increasing more than two vegetation now around, so would this be enough space? I know the generate quantity will not be enormous, but it’ll still be more cost-effective and more than getting it from a resource. Thanks for any reviews, it is significantly appreciated!!!

Looks decent. Kind of expensive. I bet it'd work well for 4 plants 12/12 from seed. The res is too small for big plants.

I think you lose something in the way of learning when you don't buy components and put the system together yourself.

I would get the "Grow Bible 2" that book thought me so much of the basic stuff. I could not put it down. You can get it at local book stores or amazon.

Id build a 5 gallon bubble bucket and get six 150 watt cfl's on amazon. I've pulled 2.75 off one plant with 400 watts of flouro, so you should get something your first try.

I make a six sight DWC using a 14 gal tote, and simply add two airstones, and walla...I have two of those that I built for the veg room, and then its just an easy transfer of the netpot into my DWC setup in my flower room. For any DWC i would definately build it yourself, far cheaper, and you get exactly what you want.

I think from looking at pictures, that when they say "4 plant DWC" they really mean 1 plant.

The layout on that is a joke.

Word... I'm running a 4-pot tote as well...airstones, pump and tubing from walmart - built it myself. Pump, mylar tape, tubing and joints from Home Depot, everything ran me about $50. 5" net pots, hydroton, growdan and nutes from my local hydro shop. Seriously... all together was STILL less than that set up...produces the SAME results. I'm on my 4th grow now, just incorporated a SCroG, and one suggestion: drill holes in the edge of the lid for tie-down spots for LST. Cover the whole thing (I just used mylar tape as I had an abundance of it) so it's light proof to avoid algae (during veg, I use ice-bottles to keep res temps down)\

It's all an experience and you learn new things with new grows. The internet will be FLOODED with info, don't try to incorporate too many things in one grow - could lead to stunting and hermies. Here's an example of what I went off of, in addition to other info I found on the net;
