Killed root rot and temps are lower, but now have droopy leaves? DWC Grow

Cliffs:
Temps in DWC were too high (80+), root rot was starting, bought fleece to insulate buckets, cut off damaged roots, cleaned out air stones/tubing/bucket, dropped ice in buckets, Temps began to stay at a steady 66*-70*, 3rd week in veg, PPM @ 375 with Fox Farm Trio & SuperThrive, PH @ 5.8-6.2, and now my plants began to droop, temperatures went up to 76* in buckets and the plants regained life.

Full story:
I was recently battling 80+ temperatures in my two bucket DWC system so I retrofitted my buckets for better insulation. I am running Fox Farm Trio, with SuperThrive and Roots Organic BloomBooster HPK+. I usually have my PH at around a low 6.

I have them in a tent, and the bucket temperature would exactly correlate with the tent temperature. Even if I dropped quart size ice bottles in there it still wouldn't stay below 72 for long at all.

I went down to the fabric shop and picked up some fleece and wrapped my buckets in them. I got 108" x 58" of some pretty thick fleece, for $15 bucks. I was able to keep the temps in range of 66* to 72* no problem, so I thought all was well.

My plants have been vegging now for about 3 weeks, and PPM's are around 375. so the toots are just finally making it to the bottom, they're about 5" submerged now.

Before I did the res change, and the fleece wrap, I decided to cut off the root rot. The roots weren't major, I only cut off a root about 2.5" long, and another one not even an inch long, so I thought that wouldn't be a problem at all. I cleaned out my entire buckets including the airstones AND the airline which had some slime on it, but I took some 409 to it and rinsed it real good to get off the residue.

As the days have been going on, they have gotten droopier and droopier, but when the temperatures in the bucket perked up, the plants regained life.

My question is, are my plants just not getting used to the lower temperatures yet? Or should I look to buy a better method of getting rid of my root rot (Hygrozyme, Subculture, or Hydroguard)

I read about H202, but then was disheartened when I realized it will kill my Fox Farm Nutes :(

The strains are Pineapple Chunk and Super Silver Haze. In it's seedling stage, the SSH for some reason lost it's first leave so it topped itself. It looks pretty cool though.

Agree, roots don't like it that cold, I put my air pump in the utility room of my cabinet so it pumps warmer air to the reservoirs.

and dont cut off roots!!
Put the root ball underwater and GENTLY massage the roots and the dead ones and the dying ones will fall off by themselves.
