He's a fucking badass. I worry that Pat from Soil King is going to accidentally sit on Kevin one day.

He comes across like he just wants you to buy his stuff and with every marijuana salesman seems to think by dropping some knowledge you will worship him.

Naah, Kevin is true at heart enthusiast, he is doing loads of work in testing banking and recording genetics so we ordinary people don't lose them to big corporations.
I'm sure it is costing him a pretty penny.

Ya and five years ago i would never have guessed this industry would be such a pile of poo.

Its a weed not rocket science...

He is a bit grating but he has the cannabis industry best interests in mind. Especially the smaller, craft guys. he is a wealth of knowledge. Seems like a genuine nice guy as well. Not afraid to share and help.

He is truly the legend of the modern cannabis world.

The Rocket science part is not hard. Has not really changed in decades. Dragways around the world we see rocket science on weekends. (even the N Koreans can do it..). Your confusing it with space travel.

Rocket science is a primary branch of aerospace engineering, that is sub divided into aeronautics and astronautics.

My question back is "why do we need these guys?"...

Half my stuff is from some big corporation anyway, westlands, john innes, ici, bayer, basf etc etc as the local hardware store has a sick range of ferts pots and soils at much cheaper prices than the cannabis industry.

Fuck im probably half Monsato and they aint pushed nothing bad onto me, store buy my hps and tent if only they would jump on that too.

Shiesters saving marijuana, site full of growers we dont need no more saving ta.

Imagine if someone owned all the chocolate, and cocoa plants/beans in the world?
Be pretty rich right?

Phuk i know how shitty half the coffee drinkers in the world would be.

What about the plants themselves?
What about variety? What about genes?
Why let someone like Monsanto homogenize everything into their own?
Nobody has the right to own a plant.

From what i can gather, Kevin is extremely passionate about the marijuana plant itself, as a living organism. Not just for the product it produces.
Preservation is something many modern growers imo just don't care about.They just want the product at the end.
There are a few colorful seed banks, and breeders that i believe are only in it for the money. I won't bother mentioning who I believe they are. But i believe Kevin isn't one of them.

Good breeders WANT to spread their genes, if they like the seed, and will happily do so.
Why not make some money as well to fund the huge operation?

I say smoke a bowl. Chillax. Grow some Marijuana it's so therapeutic, and fun. Puts a smile on your face.

Perhaps I’m mistaken but t as far as I know Jodrey runs his own show, Wonderland Nurseries. He preserves genetics for people but also clones for them as per their instructions.
