I haven't shaved for so long, I don't think I even own any aftershave.
Oh wait, I have an unopened box of real Ferrari aftershave from their shop.

No Badgers down my way, but I go toe to toe with the deer every season. I use this stinky stuff with pretty good effect.

beat me to it,Larry.i'm in heavy woods
,deer and tons of rabbits and i've never had problems.before i had fencing, once a week i'd spray the perimeter, around the base of the plant, the plant itself(during veg only)and the grow bag.good product

Well the garlic and ginger failed to resell the slugs. Worked a treat in the poly tunnel, but now they are outside the slugs don't seem to give a shit. there was slug damage this morning, so I put out wool pellets and beer traps today.

The pee has kept away all larger pests though!

I had good luck using Diatamous (sic) Earth and then i cut pieces of sheet metal about 8" x 10" and wrapped it around the base of each stalk. This after losing two plants to slugs  .

they sell a product at my local grow store made of copper.you wrap that around the bottom part of your plant stalk and slugs will not crawl up your plant(in theory).

Yeah I've heard of this...supposedly the mucus of the slug will have a chemical reaction when it touches the copper and it will make it uncomfortable for them to be on it or cross. I tried taking copper wire and making a circle out of it once and placed the slug inside to see if it would cross. Didn't seem to bother the slug at all....I was really hoping copper would work... :(

i have never used them tbh.before my fence and when i went with 20gal bags before the 45's,i set my bags up on 2x4's that were sitting on a big tray of pool salt.that was bulletproof but not realistic for some.it sounds like you used a single copper wire like an electrical wire? the stuff at the grow store was more like steel wool made out of copper, that might be a little more torturous.not sure if that would make the difference...

Copper pot scrubbers do the same thing. If you buy them from the garden centre they're called something else and cost a lot more tho. :-?
i agree.i could not recall if i've seen those.they would do the same exact thing(if they actually do work) at half the cost.

I have problems with about every kinda animal u can think of in the north east u s...as years went by iv come to find out the worst animal to deal with...for me..is by far coons.... one literally dug up half a 45 gal smart pot...to the bottom..in less than 4 min..I had it on game camera... not only that but they have climbed my plants and broke them plenty of times ..when my plants are young or fist put out I have rabbit and deer problems but I usually ko them easy...when in pots I just make some steaks around the pot and I have some things I found in a junkyard that are about a foot and and half by ft and a half square with about in by in squares all over in them...zip tie or w.e them all together and to the steaks..some finer wire or chicken wire would be OK....I also cage my plants once I'm ready to begin lsting them w the cages ..this helps with animals too...I usually wait till the plants are spread out past the pot, then I take the cage all the way to the ground and cut an opening in it I can later close to be able to crawl under and feed or water....u can make a fence around them before they reach the outside of the pot of course...if a "fence" is not in the cards..like due to it standing out if u are doing a guerilla grow..u can make an invisible fence outa fishing line..just cris cross it all over around some steaks around the plants .it helps w deer...I find the spots that I know deer can or will travel that leads to my plants and I put line up in their paths...deer won't usually cross it ..and they usually wont Jump it cause they don't know how high to Jump...I still like to put it up a lil higher than 7 ft..or close to 7 ft...but another good thing u can do is throw a sweaty ass shirt down around the plants ..deer dont like that at all...the only thing that u really can't stop from fn up Ur shit is a good ol bear...or a dick head ripper...iv seen them uproot and dig huge ass holes....this is why I quit using fish.. although it rocks as a fert...if u can leave your pots you're gonna transplant in at your spot with the soil mixed in it for awhile it will help..usually I have the most trouble w coons and whatnot in the first weeks I put the fresh soil out..they are attracted to it and they are very very curious animals...but they still will dig ur shit up later on but this helps ..... If all else fails..get a live trap..some marshmallows w syrup...and trap his ass...u can do the same w rabbits but I wouldn't bait them if they aren't like super bad..rabbits are pretty easy .but those coons and me butt heads every year lol
