Keeping a Grow Room Warm

I veg in a box by itself in a plywood box 4ft wide 3ft long and 4 feet high. The onlly problem is that it doesn't stay that warm with the lights off, and sometimes even with the cfl lights on. Can I use house insulation on the outside of the box, like staple it on to help insulate and keep the temperature inside the box?

very uncommon problem. most are battling high temps in their growboxes. how bout a tiney heater from walmart with a thermostat on it?

hey, how bad does it drop?

During the dark periods of the flowering phase the temperature is
allowed to drop down as far as 55

about five degrees just because I am using cfl's for veg.

i have 2 23w in my veg small box with the reflective insulation from HD, its got in the 30's and im still in the 80's range, im running 24/0 and its working like a charm, im scared of a heater inside my cabinet
