Kc 45

There is not much info on this strain
So i figured id make a journal of sorts
what info i have found states that these are very container dependant on autoflowering
i started them in fountain cups
let them poke roots and starved them to find the ones that require less nutes
i plan on breeding them
so i will update with the next few cycles
there reg so i will have some males and females
i have one that im pretty sure its male when i checked the baby preflower with a loupe
so i topped it so it would take up less space
i also defoliated and fim'd most of them one i believe to be female i transplanted to a 2.5 gal
ill get some pics together
and post updates along the way

I'm a big fan of KC's genetics. Gonna pull up a seat and watch.

i think it is
i have 2 i think are male
honestly i think im going to cull all but those 2
the other 4 seem to be shitty pheno's
for sure going to cross it with the royal cheese
i think i might order some diesel ryder or something like that since the largest kc smells like diesel

female KC i believe kc shit male nute whore smells like cat piss Northern lights slowly flowering only fed it twice in its life and its in a 1/1/1 coco , seedstarter and perlite royal cheese fem different pheno of the KC very slow grower started later then the others its about 2 weeks old maybe royal cheese fem defoliated early and sliced the main stalk 3 times with a razor blade to stunt it other KC male berry cat piss smell slow grower

the kc beans are really cheap for the regs
i think 2 of the fem KC45 and a scrog would be deadly under your setup

they like ANY light but respond best to CFL 2700K IMO
the two largest were under one of the CFL's

Nice grow, what kind of lights you using?

400w lumatek high par hps cool tube
2 135w 3w leds a 7 band on the veg side and a 4 band bloom on the bloom side 3x4x5 box
6 ge 68w CFL's scattered around

the males are thriving the females or the ones that arent showing male anyway all have developed rust fungus and are getting chopped

nothing else in my box is showing it just the KC's my purple haze scrog monster is doing just fine and has a lousy mold resistance
the males are strong and should be fine to breed IMO

I don't know if I've missed this somewhere, but what are you going to breed with them?

purple haze #1 its a photo but want to cross it anyway
and collect pollen for after my haze is flowered
for the next round
i want monsters and i think ill get them from the KC 45

i was just being a nice guy and logging info on the KC 45's since there is none

Nice choices. I'll definitely check out your breeding journal and check out what you're up to. You're right about the info on KC strains, they don't seem to have the best reputation but I really rate them.

for speed they dont take the cake
but from what ive seen there auto they smell like diesel pretty much and they get huge
so its worth the wait IMO

are these the sativas that are on herbies for like $1.40 each? havn't taken a chance since they are so cheap

it was like 16 bucks for 10 reg's
they all auto'd but some pheno's dont handle mold or fungus well my other plants are thriving but it seems like 1 out of 5 are really sickly
and my plants usually turn out nice so i culled the sickly ones

ill unpack my box later and get a good pic of the KC mother i chose for vigor and hardiness
