Hello all this is my first post in rollitup and my first grow on my own. I have been browsing the forums for weeks and got motivated to make it happen. I ordered white rhino from marijuana-seeds.nl which arrived promptly in great packaging. I used the most popular paper towel method to germinate the seeds and all 10 cracked after about 4 days. I planted some sooner then others due to them cracking earlier in 4 parts fox farm ocean forest and 1 part perlite. I watered them with distilled water and they sprouted about two days after planting. I have gone as cheap as possible on this grow except for some bare essentials like the soil. So if you are looking to grow with low funds stay tuned! I plan on feeding them fox farms grow big when they turn yellow in a week or so. Oh and i almost forgot after the first 6 sprouted i planted them and today after five days i took them all into the bathroom to water them for the second time and when i was bringing them back on the tray i bumped the corner and 5 of the plants fell FUCK!!!!!!!!! I ran and made a batch of soil and tried to keep all the plants in as much soil as possible during transition. Hopefully they will recover but only time will tell. I take so much time just staring at them my eyes hurt from the bulbs, and to this happen breaks my heart.

Things look good. Did they uproot from the accident? If not i wouldnt worry about anything. Also what kind of ventilation do u have in there? Can we get a zoomed out poc of the set up so we can critique it in any way to help you. How many bulbs do u have and what temp are they. U want high temp for veggin. Ill keep an eye out.

thx for the reply robbie. Right now i have 6 100 watt equivalent cfl's running. I dont have a fan running in it right now which i know is a bad idea but im short on funds, so i just keep the door open when im here. I covered the door with a mylar substitute and whenever i close the door with the shiny side in the temp climbs to about 90. If i use the cardboard side the temp stays around 82. The humidity has been ranging anywhere from 37% to 48% and i still am using distilled water even though i want to ph it. The only vinegar i have is white whine vinegar which contains sulfates so i dont think i can use it. And when you say uproot the plants, they didnt seperate tops from roots but the roots were most definetly exposed and i felt a few slight pops while i was replanting them. The leaves seem to be springing back but I'm sure they will be stunted...:(
oh and here's the asked for shot.

No. Dont worry. Marijuana are resilient plants.....after all there weeds. Believe it or not providing them fresh air via an open environment is better than nothing. Is there a window in the room u can leave open for a bit while there exposed? The whole fan thing really comes in to play later on when they get taller. But so long as they got some air they'll be ok. Light is most important right now. And dont worry about giving them anything other than air, water and light for now. I dont give my plants anything for at least 3 weeks. And then i keep it organic. I Suggest worm castings and blood meal. Both VERY high in N which is very very important while vegging and its all organic. The lighting u have no is suffice. But later you are gonna need more depening on how many turn out to be females. Ill def keep an eye on your grow. ;-)

Also how high are those lights from the canopy? And is that Mylar in the back? Or something else? Oh and are u spraying the plants? Cause I see droplets of water on the side of the cups.

i keep the lights anywhere from 1 inch to 2 inches from the plants depending on where the plant is. I rotate them depending on how they grow. If they are stretching i put them closer....kind of haphazard i guess, but its a learning process. the stuff in the back is "emergency blankets." And yes I have been spraying them. It keeps me from over watering them because i love showing them attention, and I enjoy letting the top soil stay moist so the humidity stays up.

Be careful with the spraying. You wouldn't want any type of leaf rot.....spraying the top soil though is a great idea because of its even distribution and also because of the humidity. Overall everything looks great though that height above the plants is perfect. Lets see how this turns out!

the water evaporates too quickly to have any sort of rot i think. They still look ok after today's mishap thankfully.

woot woot update time...So my plants are getting a little bigger and have grown 2 pairs of leaves, some have even begun sprouting a few more all bushy like. I put a fan on them after the stale air seemed to make them droop. The leaves seemed to be really wrinkly in some places, i guess because the heat had gone up some ways while i was at work. Also there is red under some plants leaves but not others...dont know if its good or bad guess ill do a forum search after the post. I have elevated the lights hopefully to cool the tops a little, and put the fan directly facing the grow box. I'm wondering if i should have it sucking air out of the grow box as i normally keep the front of it completely open. Either way i dont think they are all that bad off, and i really enjoy watching them grow.
