Kava Root=Kratom? Extraction?

Hey so today a friend of mine gave me a half ounce of kava root.

She said if I made tea with it, it would be just like drinking kratom extract.

Is there any truth to this?

Whats the best way to extract the active ingredients ( and what are the active ingredients)?

I dont know WTF Kratom is but if you have half an ounce of Kava root I suggest you use a small amount in an attempt to induce Lucid Dreams or increase lucidity if you're already having them.

Naah they are not that similar to me. I love me some nice kratom, in fact I think its just what I need now to deal with the arthritis in this friggen cold.

I brewed a tea with the entire half O, drank the whole thing.

Definitely got it too hot, didnt have half the power I thought it would.

Did make Lucid dreaming interestingly easy..
