Growing 4 Kush strains; Kandy, Cannalope, OG, and OG18.
All finishing week 2 of flower under a 600w hps. Lights on 80F lights off 65F
Each one in a 5gal dwc bucket getting same nutes
1 gallon tap water 300ppm
1 tsp maxibloom
5ml silica blast
1 pinch bud blood
1 pinch of pondzyme
1 pinch of epsoms salt
1 pinch of Great White bennies
ph 5.4-6.0

These are the exact nutes I have used the first 2 weeks of flowering on all my other strains on previous grows. And my other 3 kush strains are taking the nutes perfect, feeding like crazy.

I know maxibloom has mag in it, but i think my high calcium water is locking out mag. Thus the epsoms salts, but is it enough.

Tell me what you think of these leaves guys. I think im still getting mag def.

The mineral content of city water changes from summer to winter from several factors not the least of which the water company changes their mix. Your best bet is to get a RO filter and then add your micros including calmag with iron back into your solution. DWC systems can be extremely touchy and can get messed up from the slightest change. Tap water changes constantly so if nothing else has change that might be your issue. That said it looks to me like you have a potassium deficiency not Mg. K deficiencies can be brought on by too much Mg, also my experienc e with using epsom salts in hydroponics is that it causes problems get some Cal-mag, and nix the epsom salts.

ok will try ro filter and what problems have you come across using epsom salts. Not that im doubting you at all, I am just curious.

toxic salt build and pottasium and calcium lockout. it is not immeditely avaiable to the plant it must be processed by bacteria so in the end your just dumping a bunch of toxic salts into your res. It works a little bit in soil but its a better fert for palm trees than pot.
