KaBoom new cross between Jacks Cleaner F1 mom and Vortex

Hello Everyone, Here are few photos of my 3 Kaboom Girls. This is my first grow so I hope that I dont offend Subcool. I feel honored to be working with Subcool's genetics and hope to continue in the future. This is a legal grow thus the 3 plant limit.

I started 4 seeds mid December under 160w CFL and all 4 sprouted . I was unable to get my grow room up and running until Mid Feb so they sat under the CFL for about 2 months and did not get too big. As I completed my room I flipped the lights to 12/12 to induce flowering and so that I can see how many girls I had. To my delight I had 3 female and 1 male, which I fed him to my chickens. HAHA!

Soil: Ocean Forest in 4 gallon pots. Feeding them Humboldt, Deuce Deuce, Bloom and 3D organics the one

Should I repot them into bigger pots or leave as is? When I put them into flowering I repoted them from 1 gallon to 4 gallon pots?

Lights: 2 1K HPS hung vertical bare.

These pics are of the girls the 2nd week of flowering. Pic one is of Big Shooter. I toped her 3 times and she is still tall and lanky.

The second photo is of Pole and she has really stretched out in the last week.

The Third is of Salmon and was the first to flower so maybe I can use her clone for outdoor grow this summer?? The top Bud/cola is very frosty and the leaves are curling, which the fourth pic. Why do you think they curling?

Very nice looking plants, Apache....those are going to be huge. They stop stretching around four weeks so yours still have a way to go. And with all that fire power just under 700k per light. Nice! Two weeks into flowering your kind of on the border as far transplanting to larger pots, but if you have the cash for a few more bags of OF and the pots, I would say hell ya go for it. I'm quite sure it would help your yield.

One of my Vortex phenos had the same leaf curl on the cola but the rest of the plant was fine. Just a little over sensitive to something...wouldn't be to concerned unless it happens to the rest of the plant.

Your going to have some awesome plants on your hands. It will be fun to watch someone elses grow op for a change. And you started your journal at a perfect time

Thank you for the response High, I am very excited to see what they produce as for the phenos. I see the three have different structure to them for sure. Its is interesting observing the growth pattern relative to other Kaboom grows that I have seen on the net. Pole Kaboom has grown 8" width wise in 3 days and only 1" height wise. I think that the side lighting is what it keeping them nice and bushy. Should I go in and trim out some of the inside leaves or leave them be? I will try to transplant them into 7 gallon or 15 gallon pots this weekend which will put them at 3 weeks flowering. I hope all is well with everyone!

Your plants are going to love you for giving them all that extra room for root growth. The 7 gal would be plenty at this point

Thank you my friend! I will try to post new pics and an update this Sunday. Work has been crazy busy so I have not had time to even breath! But I am grateful to have the work! Rock on!

Hello Peeps, Here is the 22day flowering update. I ended up repotting the 3 girls into 15 gallon pots yesterday in OF. The roots were grown out and it was probably good that I repotted them, IMO. I trimmed up the undercarriage of the 3 girls and they perked up the next day. I have noticed a very sweet/cream, lemon, pine smell. It is almost overwhelming how much fragrance they have. The buds are nice and firm.

I took a clone of each one and so far Pole clone and Bigshooter clone has taken root, thanks to Subcool's super-duper easy cloning that even I can do it!

The first one is Big Shooter, the second one is Salmon and the final one is Pole. Pole is looking pretty robust. Please feel free to toss in a comment or suggestion. I hope all is well with everyone.

Alright Geronimo, We have made it to Day 31! Holy smokes, they are really putting on the buds. A sweet lemon, soap smell comes off of them when I brush up against them.

Just got back home from being out of town for a week and they look good. Big shooter looks like a very Sativa Dom...maybe Vortex(ish)? Maybe someone can chime in. The first two pics are of big shooter, the second set of pics are of Salmon and the last two are of Pole.

Edit: I see that my watcher who looked after them did not water them enough. Each plant took 5 gallons of water before flooding into the catch pans...Do you think this caused them to stretch out?

Here are the girls at 61 days...Looks like I will take them to 80 days...

6o Day smoke report...Buddy came by on Sunday and sampled 60 day Kaboom. He went man down for 30mins...HAHA! And he can handle his THC! Good Job SubCool!
