Well this is technically my first grow, since I'm not done with my first grow. So we'll call this my 1st & 1/2 grow. I am using 3-K.C. Brain Brasil Mango x K.C., and 3-G13 Labs Power Skunk(which I'm also growing 2 of with my other grow)

DSC00871.jpg

DSC00875.jpg

I have them under (4 bulbs total) 3-40w FLC's and 1-40w Plant FLC's w/ wide spectrum(it's purplish when on.) This grow I'm using a smaller res. I've got a 10 gallon res w/ 6-3.75" net pots. I'm running the feeder 24/7 for the first 3 1/2 weeks. I've got a 60 gallon air pump w/ dual output and 2-14" air stones and i also borrowed one of the output off 1 of the 3 pumps my other grow has. I think it was the 65 gallon pump. And on it I have a 6" air stone. I have a 296/H gallon water pump for my feeders. I won't be giving any nutes until there are 2 full single blades. Then I'll give 1/4 strength nutes. For nutes I'm starting with Dutch Master Gold Grow A&B, Dutch Master Max Grow(Booster), and Dutch Master Zone(Root Conditioner). Later for flowering I'll be using Dutch Master Gold Flower A&B, Dutch Master Max Flower(Booster), and Dutch Master Zone(Root Conditioner). And before harvest I will be using Advanced Nutrients Final Flush. Now all these seeds, WERE NOT germinated in paper towels or soaked in water. I placed them in a Super Starter Plug(rubberized moss plugs if I'm not mistaken). With These plugs u don't have to use conditioner or whatever it is you use with rockwool. This stuff is GRRRREAT®! U just moisten with pH balanced water place seed and do what u do! I personally have one of those little humidity domes. Great for seeds and clippings. So I place the plugs in the humidity dome and normally in less than 48 hours, half have germinated and are well close to or above the surface. For instance I placed my seeds in the humidity dome on Friday a little after 2 a.m.(which actually makes it Saturday) So it was Saturday morning/Friday late night, and this is a pic of them taken 65 hours after I placed the seeds in the plugs.

These are all K.C.'s Brasil seeds. The G13 Labs Power Skunk have germinated but haven't fully sprouted. They haven't come above surface. But I'm sure by morning they'll be ready! I'll keep u posted! Peace, Love, Unity, Respect!

and 1 day of G13 Power Skunk.

They're taking off pretty good. Let's Keep in mind that these seeds were put into these plugs 5 days ago w/o being soaked. So these are 5 days from straight seed. I love these plugs. Try them out people. I still have 1 seed that hasn't sprouted yet, which will be the first 1 out of 12 seeds. Not to shabby! And that doesn't mean it won't crack. I'll give it till this weekend, like Sunday, and then I'll say it's no good.

They look good Doc, just don't let them stretch.
Just keep the cfl on them and they won't stretch right? With my others, they're starting to stretch now! one of my PS has grown 10" in 12 days. The rest have grown but not like that one plant.

Doc, keep the CFL's as close as possible w/o burning those seedlings. Sounds/looks like this ones starting off nicely!! :joint:

DSC01075.jpg This 1, I didn't expect to take off. I found this seed in wat was suppose to be Grape Ape©. The bud was $125 a quarter, and was well worth it. I found 3 seeds in this quarter to my surprise. 2 were sort of white-ish and 1 looked like a Boa Constrictor, which is the one that sprouted. The bud was killer so let's hope this turns out to be a girl. I'm hopin the plant was a hermie, and that's why it had seeds. I can hope!

DSC01077.jpg 23 times cup winner, including 3 time HTCC 1st place winner 97-99, Feminized Greenhouse Super Silver Haze. And this I hope works out. This was something I wasn't goin to keep a journal about. It's not really lookin promising to me because the bottom of the stem/stalk, is really thin. I don't think it'll support it's own weight soon. Regardless I'm hoping for the best. I've loosley tied string and toothpicks to help it from falling over, in hopes that that bottom will strengthen up.

OK. So I suck at journals. It's been 1 1/2 months since I updated this thing. I'm actually about to flowering these in the next week or so. They're def. ready to be flowered. I had some problems w/ this grow also. Had to cut roots and start new. As soon as I got rid of that feeding pump, I got these beautiful roots, that they now have. I will post some pics of these roots. I will not be using feeders once the roots hit the water, from now on. I will use the feeder for 2-3 weeks. Once the roots hit that water, goodbye pump. It seems to keep my res cooler and my roots healthier looking. All these plants are at 930 PPM except for the Super Silver Haze and 1 PS(that I'm thinking about getting rid of) which are at 750ish PPM. The SSH I thought wasn't going to support it's own weight has turned out alright. I burnt the shit out of these plants again:wall:, because I failed to realize that the seedling stage lasted for 2 weeks. So when I got signs of leaves I started at 1/4 of my nute chart. Didn't work out well. So I now will just wait 2 weeks before I start any nute feeding over 150-200 PPM. I have also learned from my grow, flowering now, that very little light gets to the bottom of the plants, sooooo I've decided to cut bottom leaves and branches during the grow, this way I get more of a top. I also learned this from some reading and videos. Ready, set, grow Volumes 1-3, See More Buds Volume 1-3, Jorge Cervantes Ultimate Video and some Youtube videos also. I downlaoded all these vids from Mininova.org There's actually 1 file available for downloading with several books in PDF format and about 15 videos, all on growing. Yes it's too much but hell, I've burnt some DVDs of growing. Why not. I watch it when I have nothing better to do and always pick up on something I didn't give much thought on before. I watch them over every time I start a new "phase" on my grow. I also have started using Dutch Master Silica on these plants about 2 weeks ago. It's a little too late to introduce it to the ones in flowering. Little preview of what K.C. Brasil Suppose to look like. Shit is scary huh? Do I even wanna try to smoke that shit? Of course! EU SOU BRASILEIRO! Shit looks like some MACUMBA shit. What if I smoke it and my head gets all small and shit? U know how them Brasilians are all Amazonic and shit! EU AMO FUMAR MACONHA! SO hope all goes well, and I'll see u guys in a few weeks w/ some new pics. Hopefully of some MULHER NUA! PAZ, AMOR, SAUDE, E ALEGRIA. -Dodge

Sorry. I'm not good at these things. I'm just posting in case someone can use this information. Here we are on day 23 of flowering. Out of 8 plants I was left with 1 of each strain. Which I can't complain....... YET! The Power Skunk is just such a loving strain. I mean for a beginner. I really recommend this plant for ANY gardener, especially a beginner. I've stated before, it's a very forgiving strain. SOOOO easy to grow. My last yield was a little more than what everyone else claimed they got. Most journals I read people said 1/2-1 oz. One dude said he got close to 1 1/2 oz. Well I got 2 1/2 oz from 1 plant. And mind U I had LOTS of problem with the 1st grow. I couldn't get my PPM's right for some reason. I kept burning my plants up. These also in the beginning were getting burnt also. I finally realized where I was going wrong. I figured once the first "true leaf" comes in it's Vegitative state. Failing to realize that It take a couple of weeks in seedling stage B4veg stage. So once I figured that out, I got my feeding chart down. I actually still slack on the PPM's. Not to burn. My last grow I couldn't get the PPM's over 1100 w/o burning the girls. As of now I am suppose to be @ 1300 PPM's. And I'm @ 1250.
But the PS is looking GREAT. I topped it to have 4 colas, BUT............... 3-4 other stalks have grown as long as the main stalks, so it looks like I have 7-8 colas. And almost all 8 are at an almost straight to kind of a 45 degree straightness to them. She's making Daddy very proud. I've been keeping the pH @ 5.6-5.8. I've been trying to keep it as close to 5.5 so the girls intake more nutes right now. I'm using the 400 watt HPS and don't think I'll be using the 1000 watt for this grow. It's extremely hot + $$$$$$. So for 3 plants for now 400 w is fine. Plus it suck the the K.C. Brasil won't stretch. when it started flowering it was 8 inches, and now it stand at 11 inches. It has only grown 3 inches in 3 weeks. The hairs are going crazy on it, though. I mean hairs ALL over the place. And it stinks. So I don't know but I don't want to get rid of it. And the Super Silver Haze, hit a growth spurt the last few days. And grew 4 inches in the last 4-5 days. It satnds @ 15 inches now. I hope it hits 24 inches. Now the PS....... Let me start by saying my last PS hit 6 foot tall. This one also started having it's growth spurt the last few days(almost a week). It's grownabout 15-20 inches in 1 week. She stands @ 32 inches now. I hope she chills out and stands @ 36 inches. That would be nice:cool:. Now for my flowering nutesI am using Dutch Master Gold products. I am using Dutch Master Gold Flower A & B(2 Part Nutrient), Dutch Master MAX Flower(Performance Flowering Supplement), Dutch Master Silica(Specialty Nutrient), Dutch Master Zone(Root Zone Conditioner). I also have the General Hydroponics FloraNectar(which I initially had trouble with) which I won't be using till last few weeks OR maybe on the last 2 weeks of flushing. I will also be using Advanced Nutrients Final Phase for my final flush. These girls will be getting close to if not right at or just above 10 weeks. I wasn't toooooo happy with my last grows PS. I can tell in the taste and buzz there is potential there. I think I chopped it down a couple weeks early. There are no "flowering time" from the breeders. Plus they were free seeds from the seed bank I purchased from. So when I searched for PS strain I found the Dutch Passion Breeder's PS and their flowering time was 8-9 weeks. So @ 8 weeks I chopped mine down. This one I'm gonna let go until the Trich's are ready. The Trichs on the last one wer ALL cloudy. This time I'm gonna let some amber Trichs appear B4 I chop her down. Well I hope U enjoy the pics and I'll be back in a few weeks to give updates. Much love and peace to all! :peace:-Dodge

Once again it's been a while. But I figured I'd update this, just in case someone growing the same strains get get some use out of my growing info. I am now on day 45 of flowering. The "Sixth Week Explosion" is in affect. The last 5 days the cotton balls of white hairs started to turn into formations of small buds. And there still are 17-24 days left on the Power Skunk And about 35-42 days left on the Super Silver Haze. The K.C. Brains had to come down. She was full of hairs and somehow got some seeds. I can't explain how. All the male were pulled before they even got grapes. I mean it seems really easy for me to tell the male from the female quick. First few days of flowering. First off, it seems males flower way quicker. 5-7 days into flowering and I can tell a male already. Just before they even look like little bunches or clusters. It's so easy to tell they look different then what the pistils come out of. So all the male were gone before week one. Now the only part of the KC Brains that had these seeds were just the very last little small bud on the stem. The actual buds and colas had NO seeds. I don't know if maybe I touched the male sacs when the were just staring to flower. But can I pollinate the girls with 5 day into flowering male? The only other thing I could figure is that the KC Brains was a hermie. Which I then read online that they were known for having a lot of Hermies. So I chopped her down in hopes that She didn't effect my other 2 girls. I figured if seeds started on the KC Brains and she was a 9-12 weeks plant and the PS is a 8-9 and I'm already almost @ 7 weeks. Will she seed now? I hope not! We'll see, but I haven't seen any seeds forming. I don't know how quick it takes for them to form. If I chopped the plant down a week ago(the one that got pollinated) and there still are no signs of seeds on the other 2 am I in the clear????? Well so u know. I am still using Dutch Master Gold Nutrients. The complete line! I have my PPM for my Power Skunk @ 1600 PPM's and the Super Silver Haze @ 1500 PP's. Flushing regularly, every 7-10 days for no less than 24 hours. Temp remains @ 76-78 degrees for the Power Skunk and 72-74 degrees for the Super Silver Haze. Humidity @ a pretty constant 40%. When the lights are off the temp flux from 68-78 because the door is closed and I have the air running to bring fresh and cool air into that muggy room. And that's the only time the humidty rises to 47-48%. Which is till plenty under recommended %.
