Justifying Corporate Salaries in America

i'm having trouble accepting your "both sides are evil corporate puppets" argument given the massively different ways in which they govern.
They govern differently when it comes to social issues like gay marriage, reproductive rights, civil rights, etc. What about economic policy, and foreign policy though? Can you highlight some stark differences between the two parties?

I don’t think Chase bank much cares if two gay men are legally allowed to marry. However, I do think that they care about deregulation, tax payer bailouts, corporate welfare, getting off Scott-free from crashing the economy, and having the ability to line the cabinets of presidents from BOTH parties in order to help craft favorable policy positions.

those are economic issues for the parties affected, good sir.

yes. did you not notice trump just axed subsidies for health insurance? or, say, how north korea is being handled?

c'mon now, pal.

i'm sorry, but have you noticed the polar opposite stances from the two parties on things like dodd frank? the CFPB? predatory lenders? obama's college loan restructuring plan?

please tell me you can notice and acknowledge all these incredibly stark differences.

Have you ever wondered why the banking industry, the pharmaceutical industry, health insurance, oil, etc literally donates billions of dollars to candidates from both parties, throw lavish fundraisers for candidates from both parties, and hire armies of lobbiests to persuade members of both parties? Do you think that they are just feeling charitable, or do you think that they do it because it ends up paying off and benefitting them in the form of favorable legislation?

Did you wonder why Obama lined his cabinet with wall st executives, and allowed them to write the remedy for the banking crisis that they created?

Did you wonder why Obama continued on with the hawkish foreign policy in the Middle East, and dropped bombs from drones on people’s heads like it was his favorite hobby?

You’re not stupid buck. You’re choosing not to acknowledge this because you’ve hitched your wagon to one party. I get it to an extent. The Dems are far better when it comes to social issues, and social issues are important to you. That does not mean that you have to ignore areas where they should be held to task though. Why can’t you support the good that they do, and acknowledge the areas that they need to improve upon?

Lol.

Your racism is showing.

You think Bernie would've survived long as a isolationist when the "Bernie abandons America's defense" headlines starter?

Now imagine he's a young black president, how do you think that would play?

Obama was fucked if he did, fucked if he didn't.

You should. These very issues effect minorities to a greater degree than you and I. If corporate America is allowed to call the shots people will continue to go without healthcare, wages will remain stagnant, the environment will continue to be steamrolled, corners will be cut like in Flint MI, prisons will continue to be filled by young black men, and education will continue to suck leaving families without financial means trapped in a cycle of poverty.

How can you claim to care so much about minorities, and yet ignore issues that impact the vast majority of them?

Keep telling minorities what their problem is instead of listening to them, that'll win you the minority vote.

i don't think you get to pretend like you care about minorities after wasting your vote on a symbolic protest in a critical swing state.

Instead of empty platitudes, how about you tell me where I’m wrong?

Are in city schools not severely underfunded?

Are prisons not filled with young black men?

Are minority families not stuck in a cycle of poverty due to shit schools, low paying jobs, and the financial inability to afford post secondary education?

Are minority families not filing bankruptcy at record rates due to medical bills that have piled up because they can’t afford healthcare coverage?

Please sneeky, enlighten me on where I’m wrong with any of the above....

Right, I should have went with the status quo, because that has been working out so well for minorities! Fuck MAGA, America was already great for everyone!

Your words are empty dude. You don’t give a shit about minorities. Party politics is your drug of choice.

Status quo?

You let Trump in you dumb cuck, status quo guaranteed SOME progress (we even made progress on some fronts under Bush) and now it's all being torn down.

Y'all helped cause regression under the ironic title of "Progressives".

SAD!

Correction: Hillary “let Trump in”. I didn’t run for potus on the dem ticket. It was her job to convince people to vote for her, and apparently she came up short.

SAD!!

Do you still think that anybody who voted for Hillary is upset about black southern progressives winning recent mayoral elections?

Before you deny saying that, let me just post this:
You must be torn here. On the one hand you have conservatives, and on the other hand you have the ultra racist Bernie Sanders and the progressive candidates that he’s supporting.

A real lose-lose situation for you, eh Foggy?
I'm extending your accusation that I would be upset over progressives winning to anybody else who disagrees with Sanders' status quo campaign that shirks away from racial politics. You can deny that if you like.

Except she got more votes than anyone in the history of our country except Obama...

Why blame Hillary when it's clearly gerrymandering that's to blame?

This is the third nonsensical question that you’ve directed at me today Foggy. I entertained the first two, but will not indulge you any more. If you’re seeking attention please ask Mrs Fogdog for a reach-around or something. It’s not my job to keep your ego inflated.

Sorry

Oh, and btw, gerrymandering refers to district lines being redrawn to favor one party over the other in CONGRESSIONAL races. District lines do not come in to play in presidential races where each state is winner-take-all....you dumb cuck!

:dunce:
