So im working on a budget closet grow, just wanted some opinions if its going ok or badly. I've got a 300 watt LED ( actual watts about half) and 4 23 watt 2700k CFL in a 4 wide x 2 deep closet. 2 plants mk ultra strain. 1 month of veg and 1.5-2 weeks flower so far. Just curious if my development is up to par for the amount of light I have and length into cycle. Any input on possible yield or anything I can do to improve the set up is appreciated. *note the picture of the closet is only 1 week of flower right after watering so they are droopy and smaller than current status, I just threw it in for a general picture of the grow space im working with

Noone can tell you your yield, so a lot of people will come on and say about a pound, there joking...but they look healthy...so just keep doing what your doing

And get another 42w cfl and put it in the middle in between those plants but floor coming up, not like the others where there on top...I am using t5s and cfls, and I feel like it's all about placement with those

Add all the 2700K CFL you can. All that you can and still control heat issues. You could not put too many. If you can find the true 40-watt ones even better.

I think I am at the limit on bulbs for heat reasons. I reach up to 90 with what I have.

just wondering, what type of LED are you running?
a mars hydro 300 watt with 100 3 watt bulbs, they also have a 60 5 watt bulb model which i think is not as good, the brand isnt that great in general but again this is a budget grow, couldnt afford the best of the best.

It looks good to me I'm in your boat 2nd week of flower and using 1x 200 watt bloom cfl and 4x 50 watt halogen GU10 bulbs (cause they were CHEAP!!!) I am thinking of adding maybe 1 or 2 more lights to cover the shaded areas your plants looks a bit better than mine tbh

I've use just a 300w LED to flower, so I'm pretty sure At this stage you look about right on track, I've yeild any where from 2-4 Ozs off of 2-4 plants, but I'm running them with flood tables

take the halogens out!!! they are not helping at all!!! dude a 4 pack of 23 watt CFL cost 7 bucks at walmart and each 23 watt CFL puts out more light than the halogens, uses less energy, lasts way longer and makes way less heat! spend 7 bucks, switch out those halogens ASAP.

The halogens are helping towards keeping my heat at a stable temp and to say them cfl are like 7 dollars or whatever I paid 10 uk pounds on 50 GU10 bulbs...

i dont mean to be a negative nancy but literally heat is the only thing your getting out of them, the amount of light and the type of light they emit is almost useless. I would not use them if they were given to me for free. get CFL, they still put out enough heat to warm the temps and put out better light and literally TONS more of it. a single 23 watt cfl puts out 4X, yes QUADRUPLE, the amount of light as a single 50 watt halogen, and the light is of a better spectrum. dont just take my word for it, im sure the others on this post will agree with me. using halogens as a grow light is almost as bad as using candles.
