It only takes a day or two to notice the difference. Try not to play with the branch too much after you pinch it. One of mine straightened out a bit and when I pushed it back down it snapped a bit. Its been two days and its growing fine though. What is your light cycle? Those leaves don't look too good.

they are on 18/6 ..whats wrong with them. if it looks like heat stress that is most likely the problem. My ventilation system is shit. thanks for the reply.

Anybody else with some opinions? sorry im all worried about the leaves now. Any input is appreciated.

describe the process you went w/ while doing it.stuff like where you pinched it. its pretty foolproff though, im sure you did it right, unfortunatley my comp sucks and even the better less blurry pics are too fuzzy for me to see for sure though. they will recover anywhere from a day or two or at worst like a week. im not as big a fan of fimming/topping anymore myself, i prefer lst, it doesnt shock your plants and you still got tons of colas. that being said though, yes, i think you will like the results. its pretty late to do a traditional lst though, but you can do a smaller one to improve light penetration to the lower buds still, which i would do if i were you.

Lets See i pinched the stem like all around it. then just bent it down and pinched it kind of soft. Thanks for the input. By a small lst do you mean like leaning it at the bottom a little and tying it at the bottom? Do my leaves look healthy?

Maybe I'm mistaken but on the last pic I can see that you didn't pinch your plant. You broke it, meaning bending till you broke it. Am I right?

I pinched it first but yeah basically that's what i feel like i did. I Pinched in and i felt it like smash then i bent it down so it will stay. I did break the stem however.

All right. You can still make it up. Put it back up and tape it, like you would do it with a broken limb. Your plant should survive it, it's big enough. For the future, topping is pinching off the very fresh growth of a main stem (or any stem really) to promote side branches growth. Good luck!

Okay im going to do that right now. the topic is meant to be pinching. Damn i feel bad now. Thanks i appreciate the advice meathook

I was thinking i might just wait till lights on tomorrow and see how she looks and decide what to do from there. Is that a bad idea? Will it be too late if it is broken?

Thanks. doing it now. check out my grow if you get a chance. you willl see im pretty noobish. thanks again

dont forget to wrap gauze or something around the plant first then put the layer of tape over that. if you leave the tape on after it heals it will constrict the stem from getting any bigger and will cause a bottleneck messing up your plants moving energy and all that around.

yes, forgot to mention that. Also tie it to a stake if necessary.

Wow. i tied it with just straight duct tape. They are in lights off right now. I will rmove the tape and put some kind of gauze on it and redo it later when lights come on. Its not to late is it? regrets of last night i swear. Thanks in advance guys.
