Just started using Dynagro

Saw homebrewer's MC vs Dynagro challenge. So i go ahead and buy Dynagro Bloom from the hydroshop for 40 bucks to test out in bloom.

I poured it into my reservoir just now...and I noticed a couple things.

Its a one part liquid (sorry Megacrop). So easy to use...no repeated mixing.
It looks really hydroponic friendly....barely changed the color of the water. Definitely not going to have to break my back scrubbing the hell out of the reservoir during water changes.
Its not expensive either.

what the hell is the catch here? Is my yield going to take a hit at the end of harvest lol

Also any tips you dynagro growers have for me?
Should I use protekt all the way through?
Is Foliage Pro better to use than Bloom(read some people having nitrogen deficiencies early on cause of Dynablooms low dose of N)

if you haven't opened it yet, return it.
3-12-6 is way too much P for cannabis
foliage pro is what you want. i always have to add Mg via Epsom salt b/c it is very low in Mg.
and it's strong too. 1/2 tsp per gallon was about the max i needed
was gonna get foliage pro tbh but this specific hydro store only had grow and bloom. so i decided to just go with bloom cause i was about to start flower.

i bumped up the dose a tad so i dont have nitrogen deficiencies. but if it still happens im going to just scrap Bloom and try foliage pro.

ill be on the lookout for a Mag def. thanks for the heads up.

one and done seems too easy.
I was taught to put an A and a B and some beneficials and a pk booster for different stages of the flower's plant life and some carbohydrates and a bunch of other junk.

Dynagro is fine , BUT it has terrible shelf life. It falls out of solution very quickly ... shake bottle and hear hard bits At bottom.

I use it on drain to waste style ( hempy ) and it works well ..... look at powdered ( GH MAXIBLOOM ) I stopped Dynagro only because I switch between soil and Hempy and Dynagro separates on shelf. That alone killed it for me.
Foliage pro is the better one. Pro Tek is good too for hardening plants up.

Maxibloom and Maxigrow are a one part too? one and done?

does it mix easily with water or do you have to get a handheld blender to mix it like with Megacrop lol. and do they make the res dirty....i always come across gunky reservoirs when using powders personally.

not a fan of breaking my arm just to scrub the gunk out that powders leave behind.

you dont' need maxigro, just maxibloom. it's a really good nute from start to finish. i've used it for quite awhile.

i'm trying Ionic bloom this run. so far so good but i did need to add Ca which is the first time in many years.

if you want to check out a great additive (IMO), bioag cyto plus . kelp plus humics plus micros in a dry powder for hydro/soil

5 Nitrogen in Maxibloom will be enough for veg as a standalone?

Will for sure check out bioag cyto plus. ty

i like foliage pro for veg and then maxibloom for bloom. but if i had to pick one nute start to finish, maxibloom.

if you don't mind a really thick one part, GH floranova bloom is awesome too.

Like everybody said, don't get your hopes too high. There is something funny about that DG Bloom. I'm pretty sure HB mixes it with something, probably FP. Floranova Bloom is so forgiving I keep going back to it. I have had good results with Dynagro FP too.

I’m running dynagrow bloom rn. But it’s not really a one part imo. I have the whole line. 1 part bloom 1 part foliage pro 1/2 part protect 1/2 part mag pro. Not really the same if you want a want part just get v+b49B3921E-1B5A-4D5C-BA02-24AED64A75E4.jpeg4CAC9908-591F-4606-8444-14151D28DD21.jpeg
