hi. i'm from the midwest, and now i'm in the far west. for medical reasons.
i'm trying to get a small room started, for personal, but it'd be sweet to become a legal provider.
i've managed to grow one plant all the way through before, outside, in the backyard of the unoccupied house next door, but it turned out to be a male. i smoked it anyway; i got a mild buzz like the first time in your life you hit a cigarette. it was neat but pretty disappointing, he was a very healthy plant grown from high-quality seed. wish he'd been a female.

found something out though:
one day i topped him because i was trying to start a clone, not realizing i should've gone for a lower branch. i stuck some rooting hormone on it and put it in a cup of water, which i'm pretty sure is not how you're supposed to do it.
to hide the cutting in the cup, i put it under a small pot made out of brown glass. this was early august. my main plant hadn't started showing any flowers yet.
within a few days, the cutting in the cup started to flower! i think the brown glass made it go "OMG AUTUMN!" and put all its energy into flowering. the cutting died after a week and a half, but i could totally tell the gender! grape clusters, male, unfortunately, and so was the "mother", but he didn't start flowering until early september. a full month later.
so, i found out a way to tell the sex of a plant early. thought i'd offer that with my introduction
