Just Germinated seed, how high for the light?

Wassup,

I just got two seeds to germinate, so I just put them in soil last night. I was wondering, what distance does my light have to be if I have a 400W CMH HPS light? I read in my cannabis bible that it should be 3 to 4 feet away. Seems pretty damn far. Please help, for now I'm just going to use the sun. But I rather use light to speed up the results. The faster the better, so I can . Na mean. And what light schedule should I give those little baby girls?

is cool, closer if you have a fan on them. There is no actual set distance, put your hand on front of your plants. If it's too hot for you, then it's too hot for them. but around 8-10" is ideal but that close you'd definitely need a fan

HPS make alot of heat. 3-4 feet sounds good 4 seedlings
