I had 9 at one point. Loved them dearly and still do daily.
I knew a girl (close friend) that is a vet's assistant and she had 18 last I spoke to her
a few years back.

Wow!!! We have 2 adult cats and that's our limit.

My wife and I enjoy fostering because who doesn't love kittens? We raise them to 2lbs, they get fixed and adopted. The most foster kittens we had is 4 and that was a lot of work. We both travel and work full-time so that was taxing. Now we stick to just 2 at a time. They are so much fun though.

Also down to 2 and no dogs now... Although I kinda want an ugly tiny lapdog.
