Just bought lights... hoping I got the right ones

I bought the A51-240 from Area 51 lights.... I didn't customize or anything, just ordered and shipped... It arrived just fine. The lights are red and white... I'm just wondering if this will be appropriate for both vegging and flowering. Can someone weigh in?

I've seen the spectral distribution graph of their panels and it looks very good. It will be a great full cycle light.

Yea you are on it, one of the lucky few that don't get screwed into a less than quality LED their first buy- not saying we didn't dilligently research and read our facts, the tech just was not there yet.

Area 51 looks like they were running 2012's market, it will be interesting to see what they do for "the year no one planned for"

2013... that is.

Color Spread:
420-500nm: 12%
501-600nm: 16%
601-700nm: 67%
701-750nm: 5%

Looks like that thing is going to rock it in flowering, and a rule of thumb- a veg panel can veg but not flower, and a flower panel can do both no prob. (usually..)

Youve got 12% in blue's, if I did a DIY panel I'd run somewhere from 8-15% depending on what it's objective was. (flower-veg) So you are right where you need to be to run a dual panel.

That's a bad light, in a good way. What area are you trying/going to run it in?

Did you purchase it from FERO or Area 51? I am curious if there is a price difference and/or you can talk either of them down more than another, if at all?
