Okay I was one that at first thought Trump was a nutcase, but now after listening to him, I find myself wondering a bit.
Maybe this is what our country needs. He states putting 20% tariffs on China and other countries that are bleeding us to death. He also talks about making it illegal to outsource our factories to 3rd world countries. If your a business it is not going to be okay to pay some poor kid 10 cents and hour, you need the factories in the states or your going to get tarriffs drop on you.
He also talks on using our oil and telling the oil cartels to take a flying leap. No more protecting there behinds and then allowing them to rip us off. He says that in the case of Lybia, sure we will do it, but it will cost 5 billion up front. Makes sense to me. Why do we have to police the world for free.

Maybe he is using hypnotic forces, but he is slowly winning me over with some of his stances.

Okay rules first, if your going to come onto this thread, post your thoughts and NO bashing other people's thoughts.

No, you are the one who is short sighted. After the two month emergency reserves are gone how will America supply it's citizens with the ridiculous amount of oil that we consume? Cmon, answer me. How long will it all last? If you think gas prices are bad now vote Trump in, let him cut off imports and see what happens. I mean, are you fucking stupid? Over half of our oil supply is imported. It wasn't until government regulations, financial checks and balances, not to mention the social contract we all agreed to, that we became a great nation. Then once again, because of short sightedness and greed, the regulations were removed and what do we have now? The Great Recession that is quickly moving to another Great Depression. Keep blaming the impoverished and elderly if it makes you feel better. Keep in mind that it was the work force of middle class America that built this country and made it great. The only thing that the rich assholes did for this country was get richer. Keep drinking that kool aid.

He is one of the most well known people in the world and we all know that the 75% of the general public votes based not on what a candidate says but who he is. Look at a ballot and you see whoever and Donald Trump most people will pick Donald Trump, even if the other name is Barack Obama. I like watching the Donald and it is a guilty pleasure. However, I think his big ideas will get bogged down in practicality of them during the campaign if he decides to run. Also, he is not a career policitician, which I think is going to translate into a lot easily visible dirty laundry.

However, as much as the liberals claim Obama was qualified...the bottom line is that he had the most "razzle dazzle" of the dem party and the election. I'm not sure anyone on the GOP is going to match up to that with the exception of Trump
