"Just add water soil" problem

So i guess there doin fine so far. Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner, i got really busy with some family stuff, my mother had her knee replaced so thats fun....anyway its day 11 of flowering and there doing ok, it took a little time but the gaia green 4-4-4 and 2-8-4 mix worked fine as far as i can see. I just followed The directions, however I'm wondering if maybe I should top dress the next feeding a few days earlier than the every 30 days directions just because it took about 2 weeks till the food became available and when i mixed the dry amendments in the ratios i followed was 1 tbsp per gal, so 3 tbsp of 4-4-4 and 2 tbsp of 2-8-4 for a total of 5 for the 5 gal cloth pots.

What i wanted to know is since there now in flower should i reverse the ratio?

So it would be 3 tbsp of 2-8-4 and 2 tbsp of 4-4-4?
.

Tks again
Yes, reverse the ratio. I hope this makes sense im terrible at explaining this stuff. And feed them more frequently. Maybe every 8 days or so.

When does the stretch end because im out of room
They should slow down anyday now. Another member mentioned super cropping. Essentially, you roll and crease the stalk without breaking it on the top 8 inches or so. You then lay the top perpendicular to the floor. This gives you more room and stresses the plant into producing larger buds, if done correctly.

I concur, do not add full strength liquid fish fert. I ran into problems. Always use half of what they suggest. It effects PH.
Sorry old post....I always use fishbone meal but it's like 26$/4lbs right now. Too expensive for me. Is that Alaskan fish fertilizer (5-1-1), strong stuff? And it effects pH in soil? (I use HP)

Pretty much anything you add is going to change ph. Should drop the ph a little.

Alfalfa and kelp meal are good amendments that i’d chose over bone meal.

I think they look good - maybe some overwatering. You never actually need recharge. Not that it doesn't help if you need it. But microbes are everywhere and it's my feeling that once applied you don't need more.

I innoculate new pots from old pots. I have microbes from under trees in the forest, rove beetles and beneficial nematodes I've been keeping alive for over a year that way.

If you want a less-troublesome grow, you might look into living soil. I've done much better and have fewer problems in flower now.
