When you have a scrog going on, do you train the plant to grow in and out of the mesh or do you just leave it and the mesh stops it growing verticall. Do you also prune all the lower folage under the canopy?

Last but not least which gives the most yield. Would that be a scrog or topping?

I use scrog. What I do is keep tucking the branches under until they are done with the stretch and buds are forming and then I let them grow up thru the screen. My screen is about a foot below a 400 hps.

all i use to do was put a screen there .. never touched the plant ... i just let them grow up into it .. i suppose tucking branches and what not wud be good in some cases :-D
