thats the link to my old journal where i was using cfls. i got a 70w hps and im using that now instead. ill get pics soon but m too high right now to do it

Heres pictures of the new closet cabinet thing i got with the new 70w hps. I was using cfls but i just got this new little 70w hps at menards. I am going to figure out how to add my 7 cfls in there too as side lighting.

I checked the plants today and the bigger one on the left has just started shooting out hairs on a node close to the top so i am happy about that. Still waiting on the smaller one to show sex. Has anyone else here grown with a 70w hps before? Im still waiting to hear what yall think about them just being grow with cfls then a 70w hps.

I checked this morning and the 2nd one in the orange pot has hairs now too so there both confirmed female which is good as fuck. Anyone know about how long now till ill be able to have bud on it?

more new pictures, there from yesterday. i now have 5-23w cfls with my 70w hps for 185w total. Theres atleast 15,000 lumens total in there. Ive been slowly adding more cfls and will continue to add them till i get all 8-10 of them in there with the hps, which should be more then enough light for 2 plants. temps are between 80-85 and humidity is between 70-75% there has been a ton of people hatin on the 70w but yall will see soon enough what its capable of.

Is 15,900 lumens enough for 2 plants?

More than enough...

ive recently ran into a problem and had to move my plants to my girlfriends grandmas house, in their crawl space. They went a whole day without light tho and only have them 70w hps on them right now till prolly monday. i hope it doesnt fuck them up.

i had a problem and my power got shut off for a few days so i had to bring my plants and stash them in my g-f's grandmas crawl space with just the 70w hps for a few days but ill be bringing the plants back to my house tomorrow. Heres a few pics i just took. just cell phone pics

the plants are back at my house back in the box. Heres a few pics of the buds from today.
1st pic is of both plants
2nd is of the top bud on the plants in the smaller bucket.
3rd and 4th pic is the smaller plants also
5th pic is the top buds on the bigger plants.

anyone have anything to say? ive watered with the botanicare sweet grape twice now since i got the free bottle.

Looks pretty good for a small stealth grow. Maybe try some type of flowering nutrient in this stage. I have heard of Mollasses to aid the flowering process. I think you should try and enhance the flowering cycle as much as possible to get a better yield

Im using that sweet grape stuff that i got from that free offer thing. Ive watered twice with that so far.

I just got a 70w hps myself. Thought it might be enough for my tiny, about to be constructed micro grow closet. I think I am going to add some CFLs. But should I try to find a 150w hps light I could put in my 70w hps lamp. Tell me what you think?

i wouldnt put a bigger bulb in there it might fuck it up. the 70w is doin good for me, if you got the 70w at a hardware store like hom depot or menards or something they should have a 150w bulb and ballast for 100 bucks or less

I got the security light 70 hps. I think it comes with a "ballast." From what I've read on here, others seem to have had success. I am working in a small area, about 42.5" tall x 22" wide x 18.5" deep. I will likely get a few more CFLs, if that is the way to go. Gonna have an exhaust too.

This site is cool and I've been checking out your posts, Batman. Any advice you or anyone else has would be great.
