Jet Lighter vs Zippo vs Bic

What's your favorite and why? I've herd a lot of things about both and am just curious on what everyone here thinks!

If you participate in the poll, post why you picked what you did!


Mine is a toss up between a bic and a jet lighter. Jet because outside you don't have to worry about wind and it lights the bud very quick but from what i can assume it would decinagrate the thc because of the flame temperature. I picked a bic because they do the trick and work well.

I vote bic because they dont fry my bowls. But I light a blunt or joint with a match, just works best for me.

Torches are only used for salvia

Zippo tastes like shit, torch burns my bowl so quick, bic is just right.

we normal have bic cos when in supermarket doing shopping we normaly pick up a few lights at the front and there always bic lol but they do the job good but if we dont have any lighters around just use the trusty old toaster

bic for the win. reliable until dead or tampered with. customizable. nice "feel" to it.

when i was reading this thread i pulled my bic outta my pocket to have a look at it, it was funny as i lifted my arm up close to my face it was like a shinny white light came down from heaven its self, a white halo over a light that has brought so many good times to so many stoners, the bic lighter to me now is a beacon of good times and i think everyone on this site should feel the same way, cos without bic we'd all be using some other peace of shit.

the Bic lighters are the shit they never fail but conpared to any other cheap lighter they are pretty expensive for the good type of cheap lighters in the sense of money but in quality they are good

The best lighters for home smoking is the ones you can get from walmart that are that are for lighting grills and shit, its got a flexible tip so its easier to light bowls

bics for smoking herb..... aint nothing better then always lighting on the first try. Them shitty lighters, heh.... you're going to be lucky if you can light them once every 5 strikes.
Zippo's are awesome though. I use mine for my cigs and leave the bic for the pot...
Zippo's make the bud taste weird too.
But jet lighters make the bowl go wicked fast......
