Also, Jeff, so what? What's your point? Even if you're right, and frankly I haven't checked the links because I don't care, it's a nice story Obama decided to tell to make people feel better. Very evil of him to stretch the truth and to say that she opened her eyes for the first time two days after it actually happened. Or maybe he misinterpreted what he was told by her husband and thought that because he told Obama that his wife opened his eyes right after Obama left, that meant it was the first time it was happening.
Either way, who fucking cares? Nobody who isn't a total moron would interpret Obama to be saying that he was responsible for her opening her eyes or anything else related to her recovery.

I disliked Bush as much as the next person who wasn't republican but I always referred to him as President Bush, like it or not he was my president. just to get back to this...
i have been following this since it happened. basically plugged into huffpo checking for live updates. so it took me by surprise to hear that she had opened her eyes previous to obama's visit. this, however, was due to stimulation or command i have learned.
the first time she opened her eyes without prompt or stimulation was on sunday. so you only have it half right.

Some lessons dont get learned the first time do they? Remember the "contract w/ America" and how badly the Repubs overplayed their hand during the Gingrich years? Remember they price they paid in the following election?
History does repeat itself i guess.....if the repubs are hell bent on repealing health care and are more interested in destroying Obama than they are in creating jobs they will be making the same mistake.

Not all memorials are meant to be somber affairs. The funeral services and burials have always been sad. The memorial service is a time for friends and family to remember the dead and celebrate their lives. Now I think the t shirts were a little weird and I honestly lost interest after he thanked the doctors.
I don’t think President Obama was setting himself up as the reason she opened her eyes. To be truthful to me he seemed like he felt a little honored to be able to tell people she opened her eyes. And you guys saying she would have died under Obamacare are no better than those blaming Sara Palin. Politics as usual I guess
