The plan is simple enough. Pop a few seeds and see what happens. Hopefully get some healthy mothers going and cut clones for some sort of SOG or perpetual grow. If things go well, get a few clones nice and bushy and send them outside come spring 2022. I'd also like to collect some pollen and selectively breed a few plants if I get any males.

The equipment:
18"x30"x36" tent
20"x36"x63" tent
200w LED (ViparSpectra P2000)
x8 13w CFL
Organic Compost + Perlite + Vermiculite + Coco Coir

The Strains:
Berry White Fem (Growers Choice Seeds)
California Cannon (Greenpoint Seeds)
Western Grail (Greenpoint Seeds)

i wish u the best with this one
you can't go wrong with larry&starD, hope you find some fire in one of the 2 gps packs(both why not!), i'm a bit skeptikal about the berry white but who knows :D
how much seeds you plan to pop?

Thanks for the well wishes! One of the BW's already popped off and I'm going to do one each of the others as well for now.

I got everyone in the tent now. I am pretty pleased with the 100% germination rate. The California Cannon had a bit of trouble breaking free from the shell, hence the damaged leaf, but I’m sure they’ll pull through. Now it’s just vegging these out until they are big enough to cut some clones. Once I get the clones I’ll let them root then throw them right into 12/12 so I can asses their sex. The Berry White is feminized but I’ll throw a clone in 12/12 anyways so I can get an idea of how long she takes to finish. This should help me plan out my perpetual set up. I’d be stoked if they finish in 9 weeks but should have enough room to handle up to 12 weeks if it comes to that.

Not much to say, just another photo update. I decided to get another LED, a ViparSpectra P600, for the mother/clone/veg side of things. I’ll add some cfls to this if I end up needing more light.
I topped the Berry White to encourage side branching and will likely do the same to the western grail in a few days. The Cali Cannon is still lagging a little bit.

Honestly you probably have the opposite problem. I don’t use any additional nutrients when they are that young. How far is your light from the top of the plants and what is it dimmed at?

I have the light at 100% and about 12” from the top of the plants. Are you thinking it’s too close?

Yeah!!!! 1000000 times this. So you are giving that thing like 1600+ ppfd. Hang that thing higher like 3 or 4 feet above the top of the seedlings and turn it down to 25% for seedlings. Then slowly up it 50-60% during veg and then you can go higher in flower. But even in flower you really want it 18” above the top of the plant. I tested my XS1500 and wanted to see what happened when I cranked it up and instantly got yellowing on a very healthy plant.

Also, you are going to get a lot of debate on the perfect number but your goal is to shoot for 800-1200 ppfd for optimal growth. You can go higher with CO2. But your issue was that was way to strong of sunlight for a young plant. So back it off and slowly ease into adding more.
