I did not like seeing Hyroot's thread end that way.

Some poster laying down unsubstantiated accusations
and then the admin locking it without my being able to
respond.

Hoping that this weekend is being well to you all otherwise.

I havent looked at his thread, what happened?

Well, it was shut down by site admins.

Cannot blame them, as Hy was gone and some jerk was
insulting him in absentia. I would just like to have replied,
but at least Green Santa did that for us.

Hyroot and Someguy did not feel that they were quite able to
express some strong political feelings, and so they moved on.

I understand and have seen that here recently.
Hopefully them come back.

I sure hope so. Someguy was actually able to introduce me
to Mo and FLKeys. (Chaka was there but we did not get to talk)

I am a complete idiot when it comes to identity protection and think
that my IG handle is not the smartest either. LOL Ah well.

I am becoming more sensitive to the silencing of dissent, as time
goes along. We are coming to a place where The People will have
to fight back....but I am not thinking of RIU when I type that. This place
just wants to run on greased wheels. (and you might end up grease
if you fight that!)

There are troublemakers and then there an nice cool and chill ppl.
If you want to isolate or shun ppl and get them to leave why do i to the good members?
Some forums (the ones I dont attend) have mostly assholes for just this reason.
Ill stay here with this one till it becomes like the rest.
I cant punch anyone over the net, and so feel no reason to word fight, just not my style.
Not saying I am violent, but just dont have time for bs and name calling...thats for children.

Emailed Female Seeds again and told them after 3 orders still not a single seed came.
I hope to get something soon. I wanted some fems popped already to not get behind on the tent schedule

I agree that RIU is nicer for a reason.

I had a bit of a rough time at ICMag, but there are some cool people there.

Sorry to hear of the Female issues. I did get my one bean from them through Attitude.

I was thinking after you had mentioned Attitude before, that I should have gone that route.
I just felt like they are the source and direct is the best for freshest seeds, but I would settle for just getting them at this point.
I follow searches to the other forums including ICMag, but never reply, well I did a few yrs ago about DJ Shorts Grape Krush, but thats the exception.

Yes, if you go Attitude, then you run the risk of having the Feds
take the beans. I have not seen an instance where I was not able
to get the original package and then to use that to get my beans
resent. And, for reasons best not discussed openly, the re-send
have never been snatched.

So, I will use Attitude when I need to.

BTW: Friggen Lavender bean cracked in paper towel but never
got out of the fresh promix. This is one of those $50 beans (or
more when you do all the math) . Brr! I do hope that the new Somango,
the other Soma bean that did get out of the soil, makes it.

I have to admit that some of my favorites have been freebies
instead of the thing that I ordered. LOL

I think that my first Longbottom Leaf, from Mosca seeds, was a bust.
Damping off got it just as it popped out of the soil. Not its fault....it happens.

Tonight I am up-potting to baskets most of my breeds going. I am flowering
most of them out, but will take clones of a few. 24K and my own Jack The Cleaner
too.

Whatever they do for the re-send should be the original protocol possibly?

What exactly is "damping of"?
I lose some seedlings, but not sure why.

One of my outdoor BD got stressed from not being watered lost all fans, and now has zero smell to the previously very fruity smelling buds, what the heck happened?

I am not sure, as I think that the packaging is the same both times. When it comes
to shipping, I have come to enjoy selecting the "socks" option. :0) I do not
want to expose Attitude in any way, but I wonder if the difference is in how it is sent.

I wear business dress (no tie ;0) at work and so nice socks are always
a necessity. The sets sent by Attitude are of fine British Manufacture
(i.e. not sure where they ship that work off to...) and I have gotten a
kick out of them, as they are a tad wild, but without "SEEDS" on them.
(the t-shirts were beautiful, but unwearable in public, for me ;0)

The term that I meant to use there was "Damping Off". This is the odd
name we give to a disease that kills seedlings. It seems to be better understood
nowadays, but has always seemed like a bit of a mystery to me.

The effect is simple and always the same: the seedling just falls over and dies.

I do believe that it is primarily a fungal disease, that fungal hyphae penetrate
the seedling and clog its plumbing. So, it is a wilting disease, as the plant
cannot keep itself pumped up. :^/

I believe that on only one occasion was I able to prop a seedling up and
nurse it back to health, but DO typically happens when they are very small
and there is little time to respond.

I am popping another Longbottom, or will be, along with a few others that
failed to pop or to get out of the soil. (the former is more common)

When it comes to loss of scent, the first occasion that comes to mind is
when people fan their drying bud too hard. This was said to basically
blow the scent off. It seemed to be a reach, but terpene are water soluble
so who knows? So, maybe the terps boiled off with the water as your plant
got dry? I bet that they will return. I find that I get scents later in the cycle.

I know negativity causes more issues.
Hoping to not harm my body more with stress hormones and negative energy.
Not to mention the vibes I put out are absorbed and/or redirected.

OK, I threw down the gauntlet and popped a new round
of Ace Seeds.

This means that I might get to try Old Timer's Haze again.

LOL, I never really perfected Purple Haze, but am trying again.

(Mo, you did not keep a clone of the original, did you?)

At this point it is easier to think about what I did not pop. lol

Only a couple of the new freeies. One had Purple Hulk in it
and I just liked the name. :0) The rest wait. Dynasty's Huckleberry Skunk,
GGG's Blackberry Kush, Bog's Lifestar, ...

...no, I take it back. My Seed bank is replete at this point. Too many
oddities I have not even considered yet. Some Johnson Genetics and
a slew of Area 51 breeds. Any word on these breeders?
