Jars???????

Ok where the hell can i find a big ass jar went to craft stores n michaels but they only have small canning jars do u guys no of any place i can get like a Big one to put 2oz i would rather have one jar than 50 canning jars.BTW i found these pretty neat jars wit clip on metal tops 10 for 5 bucks there about a quart like a sause jar.

i used a tea jar type thing that u brew tea in and it has a air seal

I use tupperware, doesn't break if I drop it and its easy to burp when curing

roast beef.wal-mart has the wide mouth quart jars and they hold a oz. nice.

Walmart does have a nice selection.
I prefer the 1 gallon glass jars.($4.97ea.)
Nice wide mouth, screw on lid.
The clamp style lids are ok but the clamps
aren't that sturdy.
A word of advise, if you go with the 1 gallon,
the seal inside the lid is plastic covered cardboard.
I take that cardboard out, cover it with duct tape,
then put it back inside the lid for a more airtight seal.
I do this more for longterm storage than for curing.
The lid is fine for a 1-2 month cure, just not airtight enough
for longer storage.

Target or Mega-lo-mart(walmart) both have 1gallon glass "cracker" jars. They are wide mouth so you don;'t have to fight to get out ur buds and cheap.

ya i went to target n got the ones like they got in the dr offices for cotton balls n shit cost 14 but is huge and has stainless stell top wit airtight things on it

I saw a storage device the other day that had a lid on it that actually sucked the air out of the jar, to create a vaccum. Would have bought it but the container was plastic and not glass. Cool shit though.

Target and Walmart both sell jars for relatively cheap that will hold a pound each of the fluffier nugs, or more weight if you have denser buds.

You can buy a 12 pack of quart sized mason jars for about $11 from Kmart. They comfortably hold 2 ounces each.
