I guess the rising economy (that the Republicans let melt once again like every Republican potUS has since at least Reagan) is an example of the Democrats wanting things to increase.

But I would also point to the decreasing deaths due to Covid and decreasing child poverty are very important ways that the Democrats are trying to decrease things that are bad for our economy/society too.
